What is a good camera app for android?

I have a SG Note 3 and was thinking in downloading a better camera app than the stock Samsung camera app, is there something that can adjust shutter speed, white balance, exposure, etc to take pictures of the hotspots on a wall without “blinding” the sensor, and be able to lock the settings to compare pictures of before and after when changing leds. Does such app exist?

Thanks! :slight_smile:

I’m using Samsung Galaxy Ace (yes, it’s pretty old) and happy with this Camera Zoom FX.
Yes it’s a paid app, but extremely cheap.

@AlexGT

Giving the phone model is fine but just as important is the android version. Many of the better camera apps work with android 5.x’s camera2.

I have android 4.4.2 rooted with towel root and knox has not been tripped, I might update to 5.xx if I can keep it rooted and knox not tripped.

You can try Camera Zoom FX. Just bought this app for .10p I’m just playing around with it on my Hauwei P9 and works a treat. The amount of customisability and features that you can play around with is on par with what you spend a couple of hundred pounds on DSLR for, I feel like I am stealing your app at this price. I think people don’t appreciate the time and effort that must go into developing an asp like this. Thanks for the app it’s amazing.

+1 for https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=slide.cameraZoom

I am using Footej Camera.
It’s free to download yet it requires a purchase in order to unlock the full list of features.
