Why would anyone get the brass over the gold-coated copper?

Its not gold. Its colored PVD steel. One of these lights is similarly coated as well, the other raw.

The brass versions come in neutral white tint like the titanium versions, while the copper versions come in cool white.
If I have the money to buy either one, I’ll get thr brass version

Ugh, yeah, you’re right. Typo, sorry. The lights are PVD coated copper or PVD coated brass. A little googling says you have to chrome-plate most “softer” metals before PVD coating them, so there’s probably that layer in there too.

My point is kind of the same though, because the actual outer layer that your eyes see and your hands touch isn’t copper or brass, its a dyed PVD coating.

Ah, I missed how the brass ones are neutral white – that’s definitely nice.

Tint is exactly like my Olight Titanium S10 Baton. Not as warm as my SC32w.
Container comes wrapped up tight, assuming to prevent oxidation.
