Banggood...

I have to share my experience with Banggood. And it’s not a good one.

Dec 12 I placed an order of 4 Nitecore HC30 and 4 Xtar MC1 Plus. This was supposed to be Christmas gifts so I paid 14 usd for expedited shipping. The next day I checked the status and was surprised to see that it had already shipped. I was then confident that it was going to be here before Christmas.

Dec 17 I got an email that said that my address classified as rural and that I have to pay 26 usd extra for expidited shipping. I was a little bummed first, but as I got such a good price on my order it wasn’t so bad. I decided to pay the same day. So I sent them an email containing the transaction id.

Dec 18 I had not received an confirmation on my payment, so I decided to contact chat support as Christmas is right around the corner. The chat was smooth and they saw that I had payed the extra rural fee and said that they will ship as soon as possible.

Dec 21 I got an email from support saying that they had to cancel my order because I had not contacted them or payed the rural fee… I responded directly saying that that wasn’t the case.

Today Dec 22 I got another email saying that they have refunded my order because I still haven’t answered them.

So here I am two days before Christmas and without my gifts… I don’t get what happened and I don’t know what to do know. I still want the lights, but I’m very hesitant to make an order with them again…

They have the HC30 in their US and UK warehouses, 2 MC1’s in the US.

I’m from Sweden.

Ah, stupid me… I saw now that they have a European warehouse.

unfortunately most of the discounts do not work in €u warehouse :frowning:

Well, that’s a bummer. It’s not your fault, so no need for apologizes.

I had a similar issue last week. I purchased 2 Xiaomi battery packs, along with quite a few other things, but only 1 battery pack came in the shipment. These were supposed to be Christmas presents so I was pretty pissed that this happened to me. I purchased another pack, in a different color, and it is scheduled to arrive Christmas Eve. So I’m crossing my fingers that it arrives on time.

Next year, I’m ordering everything 2 months in advance, just in case.

From memory cservicesz@banggood.com is the Customer Support setup at their Shenzhen warehouse/offices, & they are different to their main CS setup.

Just wanted to share that Banggood came through and gave me a full refund and some BG-points. So even though my first order didn’t work out, my reorder of the same came fast and without problems.

Since then I’ve only had good experiences with them.
