I have been cheated by a fake Canadian flashlight brand…
According to their website their top range tactical thrower could reach that:
Maximal light output:
1250 LED lumens
Maximal light output (OTF):
1100 OTF lumens
Beam distance:
540m
Peak Beam Intensity :
72800 cd (AH aH ah… :money_mouth_face: ) Sendra? You got me once, never again! You b…
That was just big baloney figures! it’s all bs :Sp !
Not just that the flashlight didn’t perform like expected, but the overall quality is flimsy and there is defect on both the body and the reflector. I won’t go night hiking with that crap.
Guess what? The first thing you do to test a flash light is to insert a battery! AND I SWEAR that my copy could NOT take any 18650 without using this:
OR THAT:
I went for the second one… No kidding! There was a big ugly tick aluminium burr at 30% of the head inside the battery tube!
Armytek control quality? ZERO, NADA!
Should be an internl issue with their workers, no lobby and coffee machine stuff…
This is what I can guess about ArmyTek facilities…
Yeah, I know. My fault too… I didn’t check the background of that Armytek crap. I should have done some research before buying online,
But never too late to improve! BLF! now here I Am!
I noticed some interesting model like the EaleTac S200C2, and also a more “ultra-thrower” model like the Olight M2X-UT (slightly more bulky, but more throw)
Members who have experience with that 2 models, advises are welcome. I need something that can be easily modded too.
Also, how usable is that “tiny-very-hotspot” from the Javelot?
I like the beam profile of the S200C2, but I prefer the “double click to-high” from Olight interface… Is the head thread mechanism of the EagleTac reliable in long term?
Thanks for your advise
