hi, dear all. we issued a new flashlight Jaxman X1 few days ago.
Mode: Group 1: 5-Mode (high—mid—low—fast strobe—SOS strobe)
Group 2: 3-Mode (high—mid—low)
users can switch Group 1 into Group 2 in low mode.vice versa.
Looks nice. Does it have "long mode memory" like most of these budget lights? I'm sure it's a nice thrower, but most of these budget offerings have it to where you have to leave them on for something like 4 seconds in order them to click back on in that mode without going to the next.
What is the mode memory like? Is it glued together or able to be taken apart? Square cut threads or not? Pill or shelf? It looks like a nice light, but these questions I always ask myself before buying a light.
I own a Jaxman UV light in about convoy S6 style and the quality is great. So I like Jaxman. Is this light a little underpowered with “only” 900 lumens? If you can use some better driver I am sure it will sell.
Not necessarily. If that has been measured OTF (including reflector and lens losses) it’s probably driven at about ~2.5-2.8amps, which I think is a good level for a stock light.
Overall this light looks like a Convoy L2 competitor. I actually like the styling of this one better than the L2, but the L2 has a bigger head and it’s ~$10 cheaper. Very nice-looking light though, and Jax is always good quality. It looks like they even made their own DTP mcpcb
