Hey guys i am looking at buying this light the shadow jm26 with the XHP50
Does any one own this model?
I guess its built like the jm30 and the jm35 but this light is more of a thrower?
Probably using the same set up as the jm30 seeing it runs on two 26650 i have wanted to buy a flashlight that runs on 26650 for a while now is it worth it or should i just stick to 18650s?
I have never bought from edc-light either are they any good? they have a few interesting lights i was even looking at getting the SHADOW SL3 3xCREE XM-L2 looks like an interesting light?
I find myself usually using 18650’s in my 26650 lights anyways, but it’s nice to know I have the capability if I ever choose to stock up on 26650’s.
edc-light is owned by Ric CN, a member here, who also runs cnqualitygoods.com. You will find a lot of mixed reviews on the forum if you look around. He is a small operation, usually I think he has 2-3 employees. I think he has good intentions with his business, but He tends to hire some borderline-incompetent employees and generally overworks himself. As a result, the quality of service has gone down recently. I have had many successful orders from him in the past, but a few bad ones recently.
Between JM26, JM30 and JM35, which one should one actually buy?
They look very similar.
My understanding is JM35 is a newer version of JM30 and it has a side click like JM26.
I have JM35 with XHP50 on order from BG and I am itching to buy another one with MT-G2 from this flashlight series.
Unfortunately JM35 seems to have been discontinued and no longer availble with MT-G2.
JM30 is available but it has no side switch so I am less interested. Plus it doesn’t mention about 2-cell / extension tube included.
JM26 is available, has MT-G2, comes with 2-cell. but more expensive than the JM35.
Is it worth buying the JM35?
I think now with the introduction of the L6 and the S70 these lights are less popular they are around the same money but offer huge performance increases. But the L6 and S70 are bigger lights.
