Vendor excuses

In grade school we had
“The dog ate my homework”
The latest China vendor excuse,
“Dear buyer, your parcel was returned to us in this morning. The post office said that there was a rainstorm few days ago and many parcels was got wet in that situation. And we decided to resend your parcels as soon as possible. We’ve already provided a fast and the best service for you. Sorry for any inconvenience caused to you. If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know again. Thank you.”
Do you have any vendor excuses?

Well, It could be true or not I like giving a chance.

My experience in general with chinese vendors is quite good.

Yesterday I received a replacement luxmeter, as mine stopped working 2 1/2 months after purchase. The eBay vendor's official policy is 7 days return, but they were very courteous about it and dispatched the new sample as soon as I informed them that the defective one was on its way to Hong Kong. They even offered to refund my return shipping, which is something I've never heard before.
