Where is the differnece between this one and the L2 18650? Same size, same diameter, some weight?

This must be the pre-2009 model L2 that does not accept 18650's.

If you happen to like more matte feel, get this.

I have L2i in sand and I like it far more than shiny black L2.

Thank you for the information. I ask solar-force on facebook and the wrote me the same: The Classic one is the first design model of L2~ it can only use CR123A x 2 pc to run it, (cannot use 18650).

You might use 17670 batteries in it.

17670 is inferior to 18650.

This body is $8.99, pay $2.51 more and you get to use 18650.
