New or other names for the LumiTact G700 flashlight

The G700, there are several posts and an action all about this light.
However, they just put a new name on it and try to sell it under that name.

If you find an ad please post it here and I will update the OP so we can keep track of this thing.

First surfaced as way overpriced Meco/Ultrafire zoomie: LumiTact G700

The Shadowhawk X800 LED may just a new name on an old light, but look at the pic in this ad, it’s now been windtunnel tested to make sure it’s aerodynamic.

It is claimed to be bright enough to blind a bear!

and “made from aircraft aluminum”, i.e. recycled airplanes?

I’ve been digging into this myself. Look at the tweets from the “reviewers” and they look like sock puppet twitter accounts.

I got a comment on one of my videos today that said… The Shadowhawk is the best flashlight. DELETE.

Copy paste that to a topic here, BLF comes up high in Google search.

I was showing the G700 advertising to my wife the other day and one of the google suggested searches was “G700 flashlight scam alert”, I am not surprised a name change was needed.

Believe it or not it’s the T2000!
T2000

Price is going down a little
man oh man!

Now that is one thing that I can agree with. If you guys have the time and can list all the names and place them in an OP of a thread - every time someone goes to research the light it will pop up with the link to to that BLF thread.

That is a productive and good use of this forum, unlike some of the other threads that I completely disagree with.

Shadowhawk

they stayed with X800 printed on them judging by the pcs

BLF is serving up all these ads, so people are coming here looking to see if it’s a scam and seeing these ads on the bottom of this site!

Using Chromium on Ubuntu and only see the ads on the left and top.
This is not nice, these ads are fed to a page like this, not a lot BLF can do, maybe contact google?
users can click the little cross at the top right corner and get it away, they ask for a reason.

I have to confess I bought one like this about a year ago. I hadn’t bought a flashlight in years and I saw the ad on Facebook (should have known better right there) and I believed the lies. I’m ashamed to admit that I paid $65 for it (it’s probably worth $10)! It came with a couple “clairvoyance” (ultrafire) 18650 garbage cells and a generic plastic POS charger.

The important thing is… I know better now!

Thanks for this new name!

I’ve always seen it called an A-7.
it’s an 8$ light .
Sorry sgav8r those are some lessons people need to learn the hard way i guess . we all made mistakes when we were noobs .
just thank god you have the ability to make real first world fax-pas. If the worst thing to happen to any of us this year is we get latticebritced than good for us .
years of telling people what to buy and what not to buy have led me to believe people just need to make their own mistakes…nothing teaches us better than our own experience .

While we were busy driving off the cliffs edge we probably never noticed all the BLF ’ers yelling ……“Cliff”…
instead we smiled and waved back …“the names not Cliff it’s Chester ”

Nice analogy!

Another name, the EcoGear FX branded TK120 sold in another $55 kit. Found a link on this “review” besttacticalflashlights.org/ecogear-fx-tactical-bright-led-flashlight-review/ and checked the price on Amazon

Has anyone seen the commercials on History channel for the Bell+Howell Taclight. Pitched by some guy named Nick Bolton. A quick google search says he is a “celebrity fitness trainer”. Same tulip shaped zoomie. They boil it in a pot of water, freeze it in a block of ice, run over it with a truck. You can’t hurt it! $60 light for just 19.99. But wait, act now and get a 2nd for just added shipping. :+1:
