The BLF LT1 has low voltage protection, so un-protected cells are good to use.

Protected for a clutz like me, who might put a battery in backwards in the dark (when the light is most needed)?

Do you think there could be an add-in option to put a reflective cone running from the top down to the base?

Something like this:

Is sofirn considering producing alternative colors for this after the group buy? This could look really nice in coleman green.

We are actually looking to see if its possible for this group buy if Sofirn can swing it. (Green, gold sand, and clear/white anodized in addition to the black anodized.

Navy and Yellow would be nice too IMO Wink

How about hard case for deluxe/collector’s edition?

honestly I would love to have green/sand lanterns, this would be amazing for the group buy, I second being willing to wait for more available colors.

Well, I’m in South Florida so it depends on the “cold” fronts (daytime temps around 80, nighttime in the high 60s) we usually get one in September but it’s best to wait until late October to plan trips.

We basically have 2 seasons – really hot (April – September) and really nice (October – March).

Most of the rest of the country prefers fall and spring for camping.

Thanks for the explanation Smile

Over here (52 deg latitude, sea climate), autumn and winter are too wet and cold for most people so camping season is really just the end of spring and the summer, that is: if I want my family to join. So the lantern is well in time for next season Cool

Sorry, am sure this is mentioned but can’t find it. Do we know which website we will be directed to for purchasing the light when we get our PM?

Florida is a bit unique. Once or twice a year in the “winter” temps will get down to freezing over night but it’s usually up to 70* F by midday. The winters are great for camping 80-90% of the time but you could get a hot weekend or a rainy/cold one if you’re unlucky.

Sofirn can choose any color they want, I’m only concerned with performance.

My concerns as a percentage:

Performance 100%
Colors 0%

Yep. I will take whatever color they make although I may have to do some modding if it ends up being “Hello Kitty” pink.
