1.21 gigalumen AAA EDC.

- I need a special light.
It has to run off a single AAA cell, be EDC size, output of 1.21 gigalumens on high, have a run time of a few weeks on high, have all the good modes we like, no PWM, 90+ CRI, all that. I am having a hard time building one or modding one to that spec. Anybody else want to give it a try?
I will give you money if you can provide it. I think it’s time i go to bed.

Do you have access to plutonium? }:-)

maybe i can scrounge up enough from a few hundred discarded smoke-detectors for you.

I’m in for two but only if you can upgrade the emitter to 100+ CRI, thanks. Oh, and a glow-in-the-dark tailcap.

This light will run too hot to hold, I need a handle with that:

I think I’ve seen one like that on ebay…

Not quite EDC but comes with head strap for daily no-handed use. 2.2x10^17 hexadecagon lumens OTF, 1D bin.

Takes four zero point energy modules in 2s2p configuration, cos who wants a ZPM in series amirite? Has 5 modes - off, low for walking your dog or lighting up a continent, mid for scorching atmosphere, high for blinding aliens hiding behind Jupiter, and Turbo for manipulating the spacetime continuum.

I tried measuring the amps on this thing using my Fluke DMM and I ended up turning the Fluke into a cloud of plasma, also killing my pet badger.

I’ve moved on to the upgraded model so I’m happy to sell this for $99 ONO.

You forgot to request that it must have a clip

Maybe he doesn’t want a clip! }

That photo is a good argument for mandatory sterilization. :stuck_out_tongue:

 need the like button

I’m in for 2 depending on price. Can I get serial numbers 075 and 076?

I saw it on a gearbest flash sale. Pm me for price and details.

My demands:

You must have the manufacturer produce an eco-agreement guaranteeing that 110% of all energy used to produce the light was generated from renewable energy sources.

I also demand that you do a full mass spectrometer inspection of the light and all packaging products to insure no baby seals, rare wood or ivory was used in it’s construction.

All shipping shall be on electric planes, boats or trains with zero emissions and no contrails.

A full report (in triplicate) will be required before order placement.

If these specs are met, in for ten…as long as you keep the price below $1.89.

DBSAR, I hear those specs are very similar to the new and upcoming G701 model from Lumitac! May be worth checking out. I bet they’ll have a great 75% off sale when it’s released!

Lol

You only need about 20-30 TJ. It’s very doable with a 10 GAh (10 TmAh) 10440 LALR (Lithium - Anti-Lithium Round) Cell, just be very careful to not overcharge them, they produce a 10 kiloton explosion if they vent.
Edit: I heard that in the LHC in Switzerland they recharge LALR cells for cheap if you don’t want to buy a special charger.

What if it turns on in your pants pocket? }

Imagine the type of hoverboard or e-cigarette you could run with cells like those…… :cowboy_hat_face:

In all reality though, there will no doubt be those amongst us who can accurately chart the progress/power/efficiency of flashlights over the last few decades or even just over the last few years. Whilst any future improvements may not necessarily be exponential, can we even imagine the type of high-end flashlights that might be readily available in ten or twenty or fifty years time?

how about this instead?
