I will make real photos soon. But Ive already posted teaser from 3d model.
This project is made to have different usage, in this case I have to provide it as compete or almost complete set. Sorry for delays and not so budget price, hope nobody would be dissapointed with this step-up.

Is our current guess that this is an entire replacement head?

Now for the million Ruble question. Did you source a copper MCPCB compatible with cute-4?

This is P60 compatible neck with S2+ threads inside that can accomodate 18350 cell itself. I.e. if you take L2m (short tube) and change stock neck with this one, you will get 18650 cell place (few cm shorter than regular neck + long tube).
With included pill you can build quad with carclo optics, but if you have shorter pill you can make a single led config with some reflector or optics. Threads inside allows you to adjust pill at right height.

OK, so basically the head will screw on to it, and if you wanted you could just put a tail cap on it and it would be a 18350 light?

If I buy:
1x P60 solid Cu 18350 neck S2 Cu pill
1x P60 Surefire copper quad shelf – new version

Would you toss in 1x Discounted S2-S8 spacers with some burs? Big Smile

One question Kiriba, what its the exact size of hole in your spacers, in the c8 spacer for example?

I’d be interested, sadly I don’t have a C8 around, but I do have an M8, are the head-side tube threads compatible?
What size should the 2mm glass be?

Threads are not fully comparable, also m8 tube threads are shorter.
Regular C8 42×2mm glass.

ok Im in for a few of the c8 kits. Honestly Im not crazy about the design if the fins were tapered to make the head more of a cone shape it would be more aesthetically pleasing.

I like it. The way I see it this is about performance and functionality, not aestethics, and the fins taking up basically all the avaiable space mean maximum heat dissipation in this form factor. Though depending on how well the heat can travel down the center tube the last fins might not do much to help and so tapering them might have no perceivable impact on performance.

I agree, i do like the idea, but i dont’t like the shape of it.
It’s eeeh… how do i have to say it briefly?

ugly

I’d prefer more the classic flashlight shape with large fins, something like this quick sketch

just my opinion though.
