Searching threads

Hello, I do a lot of google searching of forums (CPF, rcgroups), and with those forums google has indexed all of the threads and it is easy to find a specific post with specific info. But with budgetlightforum, it seems like google has only indexed the first page of a thread, leaving most of the thread unsearchable. Does anyone else have this problem? The google custom search on the budgetlightforum page does not do any better.

For example, on page 11 of the thread “Yezl Y3 - a picture breakdown” there is a post that mentions the vappower 26650 cell. Entering “yezl y3 vappower” in google brings the first page of the thread up, where vappower is not mentioned. I don’t think google can see page 11. Searching for specific words on page 1 returns proper results; google can see page 1.

What’s the deal?

Search within thread works for specific word combinations.

Step By Step Instructions

1. Start in whatever discussion thread you want searched (in this case, the “Yezl Y3 – a picture breakdown”).
Click on the Search Within Thread tab.

2. Enter the word or words that you want to search for.
Hit carriage return or click on the Apply button to initiate the search.

3. Click the link to find the desired post. If there are multiple hits, you may want to right-click (open link in new tab) to open each link. Otherwise, you’ll lose the search after opening up the first link and have to start over to view any of the other links.

4. The results.

Thanks. “Contains all words” choice is the most useful for me I think.
