Few fotos of Soraa Vivid AR111 lamp (disassembled).
Typical CRI 93…96, R9 88…95.
Very solid build, and excellent thermal dissipation (datasheet says : it suitable for closed environments).
( IN: 12.14 V DC 1.51-1.53 A)
on LED : ~ 29.94 V
Nice TIR optics, 25-36-60 deg. may be replaced between lamps. (don’t know about 9 deg.)
Unfortunately, Soraa not sale optics separately (only Snap beam spreader’s, with magnet clips, for 9deg. lamps.), and 60deg. AR111 lamps currently out of stock.
I forgot to visit the Soraa booth at the light+building this year…
But there has been some other interesting innovations, like the “Vx-filter” lens from Verbatim, which increases the CRI!
Very nice “on paper”, but we can’t add deep red’s and deep violet by filter - we simply don’t have these parts of spectrum in LED light.
Filters only can reject some parts from light, and if we has some “middle-quality” LED, we can’t create “full-spectrum” from it.
Good example : Solux halogen lamps has versions with 3500,4100, 4700 and 5000K, with full spectrum, because halogen has ALL visible part of spectrum + UV +IR, and filters can change color temp., but final spectrum still be excellent.
