Has anyone seen "New Solarforce Reverse Clicky TailStand HaIII Click switch for L2 series"

Has anyone seen the "New Solarforce Reverse Clicky TailStand HaIII Click switch for L2 series"?

I was thinking that I'd like a simple, forward clicky switch, and this new switch at $5.50 each, I thought I could buy 2 or 3 of them, and replace the switches with forward clicky's like from Shining Beam or such.

If anyone has seen one of these switches, my question is, do you see anything that might preclude easily modding it with a new forward clicky switch?

TIA !

Link?

I can't find it on Solarforce's website

sounds like the stock l2p switch..man I hate that switch..lol

Well, I like mine actually. Tail stands, nice big rubber cup and nice clickie :8)

I find it horrible..so stiff and hard to press..and there's no grip to the light so that makes it even worse..an s3 clicky is a much better suit for me..

I love mine as well. What's not to like about it?

I'm playing with mine now. I don't find it stiff.....Oh wait, that didn't sound good lol!

lol nice..maybe I got a bad one, but the one I have is really annoying..

I'm comparing it with my other Solarforce's right now and I'd say it's a little stiffer, not really enough to bother me..

My current Solarforce lineup. I have an L2M coming next week :)

nice..I want to try a new L2 or L2m..I have an l2p with s3 switch and an L2t..both are by far my nicest p60 hosts..has an old L2 that I sold to a friend and it was decent also..the stock switch on my L2p is easily twice as stiff as my L2t or L2 switches are..

Maybe you should change the rubber-tailcap?

SF SN: A3821. I can say that my Xeno's clickie is stiffer.

That's the only reason I haven't bought a Solarforce yet I really want a reverse clicky Gray L2P

That switch is the new version of the stock L2P tail. They've changed it a little and it appears it may be easier to operate (I'm with pounder, I find the "old" one darn near impossible to turn on/off with a normal grip). I've got one one the way and I'll try to remember to post my impression here.

Sorry...

Thanks!

Well I remembered. The new tailcap is easier to use. It has a 14mm boot instead of the 16mm of the original ones. I’m still not sure what makes them so hard but the new one is an improvement IMO.

atbglenn, I see you have new L2P with Manafont Ultrafire T6 drop-in. How does the switch work for you?

here is my story, i started a new thread not to hijack anyone elses:

Thanks for any input!!!
