 Just received this today.

Nice little thing.

In the last couple of weeks I bought ThorFire KL02, ThorFire KL03 and Aimai AK02...now I need some 16340 batteries.

Received earlier this morning.

ThorFire TG06

Pros:

Good quality flashlight, many spare parts (o-rings, lanyard, 3 coloured tail cups and a switch) inside the package (recycled carton box - good looking for present), manual in english. Delivers many lumens for it's size with a good 14500 Li battery.

Cons:

Doesn't have strobe mode.

Purchased:

Aliexpress on 11/11 for $7.70 (using $1.88 AliExpress Coupon in a combined order) from https://www.aliexpress.com/item/ThorFire-TG06-3-modes-2500-lumensTactical-AA-or-14500-LED-Flashlight-for-CREE-XP-G2-LED/32490663507.html

Seller recommended. Fast dispatch and delivery (ordered 2016-11-11 / arrived 2016-11-30 in Thessaloniki, Central Macedonia, Greece), simple package but well protecting FL's box.

Bottom line:

Should have ordered some more for presents to friends and familly at this price!tongue-out

Please tell me it’s not as pink as it shows on my screen ? I’ve ordered a red one because I saw a true red color on the Klarus site ! Might have it in 2 days max but I’m a bit worry now…

I have that same red Mi7. It’s definitely a “flashy” red. I wouldn’t call it pink though. I think it looks classy enough for the cost.

Got X7VN. It definitely does OK in the output department for a popcan light.

Arrived a couple of hours ago.

Convoy S2+ grey

Pros & Cons:

Everybody @BLF knows them.

Purchased:

$8.99 at GB promo, a couple of days before BF.

Seller:

Everybody knows GB: capable for the best or the worst. I think they provide much better CS lately, nothing to compare with their situation 1 year (or even some months) ago.

Bottom line:

Good deal at this price, but it's boxing isn't good enough for present to friends and familly.

Side by side with Convoy S2+ Blue

Convoy S2+ Blue

The blue one (bought only $10.87 about a year ago from BG) is much better looking, cause of it's:

  • metal tail button
  • better lanyard
  • good looking box

Arrived yesterday.

Pros:

  1. Good quality flashlight.
  2. 2 tail-caps (clicky & magnet).
  3. 2 O-rings as spare.
  4. Nice keychain (but doesn't have a lanyard).
  5. Nice package (plastic box in carton with window), good looking for present.
  6. Delivers many lumens for it's size with a good AAA battery.

Cons:

  1. Doesn't have strobe mode.
  2. Li 10440 battery not compatible.
  3. Difficult to change modes with one hand if you use the magnet tail-cap, cause the head is tight and needs some strength to turn it.
    • Using the clicky tail-cap is easier, cause the modes can also change by pushing slightly the switch.

Purchased:

$8.19 (*2pcs) at 11/11.

Seller: Aliexpress Store No.2529001

  • Recommended.
  • Fast dispatch and normal delivery (ordered 2016-11-11, arrived 2016-12-07 in Thessaloniki, Central Macedonia, Greece).
  • Package wasn't well protected (simple envelope), but due to the well protecting plastic box of the items there was no problem.
  • Free shipping with Tracking Nr.

Bottom line:

Great deal at this price!

Nitecore confirm me a few minutes ago that Tip Wintern edition “the winter edition is definitely from a newer batch without the lockout issue”.
(The person that comment, I think is quite reliable.)

Thanks for the info Trevi_lux! Smile
The answer I received a few minutes ago from Nitecore wasn’t enlightening at all, but I’m sure you’ve got better contact with them. Thumbs Up

Honestly I did not think I would like it. I was going to leave it here for my wife.

Truth is I am keeping it. Making it my EDC at work. I do wish it had a belt clip and the little rubber cover for the Micro USB is kind of irritating  really only because of the tiny little tip of it. I snipped that off and now that cover does not get snagged all the time.
