Using Google Chrome, I am seeing quite a few “Page is not responding” popups today. Is anyone else encountering these? I do have Adblock Plus and Avast web security installed.

Had some issues today, BUT it is the wind and rain here, out phone line just hangs and further down the road some trees grow around it so we have a lot of fails now
And whitelist the ads on BLF, they help and sometimes even show interesting stuff

The thing is, if they are “page not responding” errors, that would be a problem with the browser (specifically the browser’s Javascript engine), not the server. As far as I know nothing has changed recently that would start causing problems with browsers.

only problem I have is when my phone cannot reah BLF via WIFI (when internet is down, a refresh and it picks up via 3G/4G, clearly the fault is here then.
Thanks! But actually I can’t take credit, at least for the Google ads. Those are all chosen automatically for each user by Google’s crazy algorithm, which is indeed effective for serving up relevant ads.
Hmm, maybe I am googling a lot about flashlights and click on ads with interesting flashlights then, how bizarre, does not seem like something I would do

FYI, it seems better now than it was earlier.
I have a 100meg connection with good reliability… I get them in batches as well since the upgrade. I suspect there is a server loading issue or a part of the software goes awry and loads up the CPU.

I can only think of one error in the last week and that was my file wall blacklisting this site for some unknown reason.
