SingFire produces some well known EDC keychain flashlight like the SF - 347 and SF – 348 models, but i’ve never read a review about this SF – 346.
The appearing part of this flashlight is the nice silvery host made of really thick stainless steel, which makes it heavier than the mosts AAA flashlights alternatives.

Modes and estimated lumens:
Switch type: MECHANICAL
There’s 1 mode: only on and off

My estimated lumens are 80/100

>>LIGHT >>> The angle of refraction:

Weight and dimensions measurements (made myself, not by specs):
This flashlight weighs precisely 55 gr
Height 9,3 cm
Diameter 1,4 cm
Head diameter 1,6 cm

Construction quality:
The photos speak for themselves……what could i add?
I like the small beam spot produced by the deep reflector, it’s not a “flood” beam and can reach long distances.
The great difference beetween SG – 347/348 models regarding the host, is that in this one you could easily modify the driver and led because the host isn’t a single jointed tube (from head to end like in 347/348), but it’s divided in 2 parts so the work is made less difficult to made.
I tested the light output difference beetween a nimh and a lithium 10440 battery but i can’t see huge differences in lumens, but considering that the output is already pretty high with a nimh, there ’s no need to stress the internal components of the driver using a 10440 battery.

Lanyard hole: PRESENT (one)

Threads came NOT GREASED, but this is not a big con, i used my grease.(mine isn’t an high quality one, but you can buy a top notch if you prefer)

Led Tint, reflector and lense:
The led is well centered and its tint is cold white, tending to warm/cold
Reflector made of: ORANGE PEEL – ALUMINUM
Lense made of: GLASS

Outside beamshot at 25 meters, only at FULL power (same place for all my reviews)
(1GIF)
Wall beamshot at 250 centimeters, from lower to higher power (same place for all my reviews)

Ceiling bounce test with LUXmeter:

PROS:

- deep reflector (tiny thrower!)

- so much lumens from 1xAAA nimh (no need to use 10440)

- clicky back switch

- fantastic stainless steel host

  • low priced

CONS:

- It overheats easily (but it’s normal), for example more than lumintop TOOL AAA at Hi mode

  • only 1 mode, i would prefer at least 2 modes (High + Low) to prolong the runtime

Final thoughts and why you should buy it:
At this price, you can’t miss the opportunity to grab this well constructed EDC, this tiny flashlight thrower owns one of the best price/quality ratio.
You can’t go wrong
