How do you make progress with Banggood ?

As above how do you good people get anywhere after raising a BG ticket ?
The story so far :person_facepalming:
On Saturday the 30th I received the long awaited Cometa, hurrah.
Upon inspection the lens was damaged.
No biggie I thought, they will send me another lens.
Upon inserting a cell & after making & installing the recommended plastic insulating washer to avoid the shorting problems some members have had the light did not work at all.
I posted my problems on the Cometa thread on here & was advised a series of trouble shooting tests to do to try to identify the problem.
After doing these tests (light still not working) & posting my results the concensus of opinion was that either the driver, led or both were dead.
So I raised a ticket with BG explaining the problem, the trouble shooting I had done & including pictures of the damage & problem.
Monday I received an email from them asking for more pictures & a video which I duly sent with an explanation of the problems.
Tuesday I received an email from them asking for more pictures & a video which I duly sent with an explanation of the problems.
Wednesday I received an email from them asking for more pictures which I duly sent with an explanation of the problems.
Thursday I received an email from them asking for more pictures which I duly sent with an explanation of the problems.
Friday I received an email from them asking for more pictures which I duly sent with an explanation of the problems.
Saturday I received an email from them asking “are you saying the lens is damaged & the light doesn”t work at all” :person_facepalming: And also asking for details of the cell I have used & a picture of it plus asking can I “replace the tail cap with tweezers & see if the light will work again?” I have already tried doing a tail cap reading with a DMM & sent pictures of me doing this & assume the “tweezers” suggestion was to bridge the cell negative to light body thereby bypassing the tail cap so exactly the same as I have already done using my DMM.
So far I have emailed them 7 times & sent them 40 odd pictures & 2 videos ?
Is this standard practice when dealing with a BG ticket ?
How long can I expect this to go on for before they offer me some sort of resolution ?
How many emails, pictures & videos would you consider to be a fair & reasonable amount for them to request & for me to send before they either offer me a resolution or I raise a paypal dispute ?
Just wondering as I have never raised a BG ticket so this is my first experience of dealing with their customer service.
I have already raised these issues on the Cometa thread but feel that this is the best place to discuss this to save clogging the thread up as this is now more a seller issue.

Decide what you want them to do and then tell them, at least twice, and tell them you will open a PayPal case (assuming you paid thru PayPal) if they don’t comply. Then, just open a PayPal case. PayPal will pay you your money back because you were sent a non-functioning item. You have done enough to satisfy any reasonable vendor already.

In each of my emails to them I have politely asked “can I have a replacement undamaged working light please ?” so I would have thought by now that they know what I want them to do.

One thing is not clear to me
Did you communicate with the same person?
If so you have done enough and could copy paste the same text referring to your previous emails and ask for either replacements or new light.
Do end this with a statement that you are sorry about the issues and lack of solution and that you trust them on resolving it.

Add a PS stating that you fear you have to start a dispute with PayPal soon if they don’t resolve it.

how many banggood threads do you need to create?

The first 6 emails I received from BG were from the same person, the 7th & last email was from someone different.

I have asked on this sub form because it is titled “Budget Dealer Experiences” & this is about a Budget Dealer Experience.
When I raised the issue on the Cometa thread it just caused arguments so I deleted my posts & am not posting on that thread.
I have never raised a ticket with BG before & am just asking advice as to what is the usual procedure to resolving an issue with them through a ticket & thought that this was the correct sub forum to do that ?
I am not bad mouthing BG.
I was assuming that members would have had experience with dealing with a BG ticket & would post what they considered to be reasonable or normal in respect of time, amount of information requested etc based on their experiences.
Am I not allowed to ask advice ?
I thought that giving advice was a big part of what this forum was all about ?
Sadly it seems I am mistaken & I am not allowed to ask advice here either without members “having a pop” at me.

There’s nothing wrong at all with this thread.

In the other thread I wouldn’t blame anyone for being annoyed and frustrated at trying to get their problem’s resolved as it’s proving to be so difficult.

+1
To my way of thinking you have already done more than enough as far as sending pics, videos, & trying to diagnose the problem. :person_facepalming:
Do as suggested by MauiSon about PayPal, tell BG & then do it if they do not comply .
Good luck………

Why did you even ask this question? Did you not even read the Original Post??
Do you work for BangGood???
My goodness………… :person_facepalming:

Do you not realize the OP is a respected member of the BLF Community and should be free to ask this very pertinent question?

I do not know if they are too stubborn or just idiots

Perhaps I will not buy from them anymore

The few times I’ve had to open a ticket with them, they’ve responded the same way, acting as if they never saw the attachments and asking a few specific questions. I’ve simply replied with short unambiguous answers to each and indicate that the attachments were included when the ticket was opened. Luckily, these have been small ticket items which they did not appear to have issues resending. I think long detailed messages or videos might cause more confusion due to the language barrier.

The only time I dealt with BG customer service, I had very good results. My first order with them never arrived, so after 2 months I messaged them to find out what was going on. They replied right away and offered to either resend or refund. I opted to resend it, and it arrived about 4 weeks later.

Maybe it depends on the value, mine was only a $9 light. Or maybe I just got a good person to deal with.

All I can suggest is keep talking to them, and maybe you’ll get a person that is more helpful. Last resort is to involve Paypal, if the cost of your item is worth it.

I have never raised a ticket with BG before hence the post.

The trickiest part is patience
Like the ordering from China works best doing order and forget and not check shipping I recommend just go there when you receive email that they have responded, immediately type a response and save the comm in PDF or new word file and close the tab and try to forget you are waiting on an answer, just let it come when it comes and only ask when an answer will be coming after two to three days.

I had a order from BG that wasn’t delivered. After a couple of emails to their CS, and them requesting pictures of an item I never received (I sent them a picture of my empty mailbox). Then, I sent a message to them, through Paypal. They responded, telling me to file a Paypal claim. I did, and they refunded my money the same day. I know you would probably just like a replacement, but just email them through Paypal, and see what they say. They seem to respond better. Re-order once they refund your money.

I have had to raise 2 tickets with GearBest (who I have had 20 plus orders from with no issues), one for an item that didn”t arrive & one for an item that had parts missing.
The item that did not arrive they asked for a picture so I sent them a picture of an empty table top & as the item was out of stock they gave me a full refund store credit within 2 days of raising the ticket.
The item with missing parts was a camera advertised with 2 batteries & a charger, which arrived with one battery & no charger.
They asked for a couple of pictures, which I sent, & again within 2 days they messaged me they had sent the missing parts.
I have had 25 plus orders from BangGood with no problems, but my experience with BangGood after raising this ticket has been much much different.
I started this thread as I wanted to know if my experience so far was par for the course when dealing with a BG ticket or not.
Thanks very much to those that have posted & I will be patient a little longer.

My story with banggood,
on march 22 I ordered TF S70
received it april 11,lasted five seconds and went dead
on apr 14 notify TF about DOA, no response
on apr18 notify BG, BG responed apr 19 wanting video
apr 19 I told BG that I could not send video I have no way to do this
on apr 20 BG asked for pictures and I sent pictures
BG responed on apr26 that would resend light but out of stock and would be 20 day delay
on apr28 BG shipped light
may 11 I received new light and it worked fine!
So my story has happy ending. I’m good with how BG treated me and will keep dealing with them. Sorry your dealing has not gone well, maybe you will find the person I dealt with and all will be resolved. WOW I need a beer.

Had some problems with Banggood, but they solved all of them by resending or refunding. I think they have automatic replies to every ticket raised with the message “send photos and videos”. Even if you attach pictures when raising the ticket.

The best method so far has been to write in short, clear sentences, without any complicated language, and repeating the same when they do not understand. I did not send pictures when the item has not arrived, but I like the idea of sending an empty mailbox

Well, there went that. Not only did Banggood cancel my 4 SD1’s, they cancelled two other orders. An FT03 in green and every accessory they have for the FW3A times two for my son & myself. Refunds have been approved, but not processed wtf…
A lot of fun on BLF and nice discount codes going around. Just wish Banggood held up to the hype. 1st time = last time. Again, thx for trying BLF.
