I have been talking with the folks at Solarforce about offering us s super bright XM-L say 900 to 1000 lumens like the Masterpiece Pro I head with a a tube body that holds 2 18650 batteries. I for one would buy one if they did. I keep telling them it would be one of the ultimate throwers instead of the weaker led that they are currently using. Super throw is one thing, but I like the authority statement in with the throw to really light up what I am aiming at at say 400 to 500yds. What do you guys think? I think a light like this would give the Thru-Nite Catapult V3 or the Olight MX3 all they want and then some.
What do you think about the solarforce m8? I’ve heard it throws really well and is around 800 lms. They should make a 3x XML light , if priced right I would be all over it.
You know, I didn't even know that light existed until now that you mentioned it. I must have overlooked it. Yea that would be a nice one but a little pricey. That just takes 1 18650 is that correct? But it says it has a 57mm head on it. That ought to throw. But I would like to see that with a longer style head like the MPP-I. The longer head would really aid in the throw I would think. And accepting 2 18650 batteries would make it idea for longer runtimes. They make it I'm buying it.
