Had Trouble Accessing a GEARBEST Ticket?

I am having some oddly strange luck accessing any Gearbest tickets. Right while they owe me a bunch of money too, oddly enough. Hmm?

It’s strange that I can access a user account on any website, accept the one who owes me much cash for months.

But, just in case I am mentally handicapped and for some reason do not know what I am doing anymore, I better explain what’s going on.

-Get emails from Gearbest saying “New Ticket with Gearbest”, or the like, repeatedly.

-Go right to Gearbest.

-Login Gearbest. (Mozilla Firefox)

-Tickets = 0 (On the drop-down list.)

Try Internet Explorer using same password to login, I get the same phrase over and over, “Please enter the correct code.”. But, it’s not incorrect, IT IS the correct code. I’m refreshing it multiple times. I sense this is a browser script error conveniently not being fixed by Gearbest, since it can for the most part help them keep your money. It’s not like the email received from GB references any ticket directly, or links to anywhere, or even goes as far as providing some identification as simple enough as a reference number, for crying out loud. I’m starting to believe these fools are the mentally handicapped ones.

Anyone else having this issue?

erase the cache, check whether you’ve allowed cookies for the site, check if you have something like NoScript or AdBlock or anything else running, restart the browser … don’t just “allow everything” but keep poking at settings. The “correct code” changes every time you refresh, with some lag time so you can refresh faster than they put a new code on the screen and it never gets there.

Again, erase cache, check cookies, maybe delete all the cookies from the page and let new ones be created.
Restart the browser again …

OK thanks, trying this now.

I have this issue as well - I even opened new ticket to address this bug but it wasn’t answered. I tried 4 different browsers and I cannot see any tickets and cannot answer the tickets so they are just dangling in the system… It’s not browser/cache related as nothing works, it’s definitely a system bug. I suspect it may be related to some special characters in email address - I did register with email with plus sign (‘+’) in the address as is perfectly within email specs but some buggy low quality shop software doesn’t support such addresses. Do your username/email have any special characters as well? I finally gave up and filed ticket via paypal to get my money back for lost package.

It looks like the new ticketing system requires a second login even if you’re already logged into the main site. Once you login to the support site, click on the “question list” link at the top and it should display your tickets. I just tried it using Chrome with ABP enabled and was able to login just fine.

I noticed this too, I found the support page requires you to sign on even though you have already signed in.
You have to look at the upper right corner of the support page to locate the sign in link.
I apologize I cannot provide a screen grab

Another possibility — if your Paypal email is different than the one you used to sign in to one of the Chinese sellers, they may have created a new account for you using the PayPal email as the login. Try logging in with that then using the ‘forgot password’ button, and if it lets you give it a fresh password for that email — then you will find you have two logins and two sets of tickets.

This is apparently a common enough hiccup that it’s happened to a lot of people.

Hello guys,

I also have a problem with gearbest and tickets, I can’t even submit a ticket. When I click on “Returns and Warranty” in Question type, i get sent to back to login, although I previously logged on. It seems whenever I go from gearbests main page to their support section, I am not logged on there. Just the support section, the main page where you can make purchases or edit account etc works.
Now I’m logged on via a Google acc. (I don’t know why I did that, in hindsight I should have created a regular acc), don’t know if that causes trouble.
This is really driving me crazy right now, as the phone I bought is faulty (headphone socket is not working as it should, since I didn’t use headphones I realized this just now), I purchased the phone on April 25 and my 45 day return/warranty will soon be over. I hope this problem is just temporary, as I did submit a ticket a few months ago and it worked.

Edit:

Problem is login via Google acc. I requested a new PW for my account, and then logged on via email and the new password. Works now

I ended up with two GearBest accounts (through stupidity). I noticed if I log out of one then log into the other, the tickets still show for the account I first logged in with. The fix was to clear my cookies.
