That battery is inferiour vs Li26650, both 4200 and 5200

LiitoKala 26650-50A is the best overall 26650 battery atm and prolly the best high amp battery for our BLF fet dd drivers

So this looks like the best high drain 26650 available, and when taking the price into count, also the most bang for the buck cell?

Cmon, realy?

Just blob a nice silver solder on the top, the cheapest and the best way to do so: it never fails you know

And yes, Gearbest batteries dont contact properly when in series, the first ones that i bought from Ali do…it seems that we do have a different China revisions of those:)

I am juts hoping that they wont nuke the battery quality some time later

Yep really. Wink
I had one of those laying around and used it instead of “blobbing some solder”.
Very impressed with these batteries also.

That’s odd. I bought two pair from gearbest and both are working fine in series in my L5.

Yeh, a round 4×1mm magnet superglued does it. Center magnet and apply glue ONLY to perimiter of magnet NOT under it. Glue does not conduct.
I have had magnets superglued to flat top pulls for 5 years now and no problems whatsoever.

Sir headlight”….. all 6 of your LittoKala 26650’s work in series??? I have 4 with 4 more on the way. None of the first 4 work in series at all. Facepalm
I wonder what the differences are??? ( besides the obvious of course )
Hmmmmm… ??

You wont regret those folks, atm they are the best all arrounders and definately batteries that work best with out BLF FET dd drivers

I see now Efest gave birth of a new Purple 4200 battery(at least a new looking one)….ordered several for evaluation

Btw, for my L6/S70 flashlights the best battery that i have tested is Efest 5200 and surprisingly Soshine 5500

No idea what if any difference there is teacher but they definitely all work in both my S70 & Z1 XHP 50 (the only 2 × 26650 lights I have).
To look at the cells you wouldn“t think that they would work in series without a magnet or such like as the tops are very flat & I am surprised myself that they do.

I have had good results too with Soshine 5500 batteries; they will especially work well in a two battery in series set up.

BTW I have the batteries of this thread on order. Smile

That is certainly interesting. I look forward to seeing if my next 4, that are in transit now; will work in series.
Thanks for the info & ‘consumer report’ bella-headlight……….. Thumbs UpWink

On the +ve side or -ve? Tradition would say on the +ve to make them feels like “button top” but I see advantages of placing them on the -ve to protect the bottom plate from sharp tail springs of certain flashlights.

So, wait a minute… Are there two versions of this battery? On Ali they are listed as 50A batteries and gearbest states they are 20A. Has this been discussed already? Sorry if so…

I am waiting on these batteries, but from the photographs they look like these would not be a good candidate for using in series. I plan on using mine in my single cell lights.

I am waiting too on the Convoy L6 but plan on using Shockli 4200mAh batteries; they are flat-top batteries with the positive terminal high enough for good contact. Not all flat top batteries can be used in series because of a shallow positive terminal.
