Features / Value:★★★★☆
This is a "rare" (at least for me) desk lamp because it allows you to change the color tint of the light produced. I think that´s why ThorFire decided to name it "healthy". Yeah... it is a cool function. In fact, that is the main/special "function" of the lamp.
It has 24 unkown type LEDs behind a plastic diffuser. I can not see the LEDs... but I think they are SMD type... the same that can be found on LED strips....
Design / Build Quality: ★★★☆☆
The lamp consist in a "clamp" to attach/fix to a table, the lamp, which can be rotated and "aimed" almost in any direction, and the USB cable where the main switch/selector is located.
The switch module is a plastic box that has a red LED that shows that it is being powered by a USB 5v power surce, a on/off switch that also works as power output selector (LOW, off, HIGH). And, the color tint switch. Each press of that switch changes the color tint of the light emitted.
One click, COOL white light. Another click, cycles to NEUTRAL white. Another click, cycles to WARM white. Then if you click it goes to the same "loop".
Only 3 stars because it has some parts made of plastic. 100% Metal would be better. And it may feel a bit "flimsy"...
Battery Life: ★★★★★
Battery life? is a joke? It will produce light while you feed 5v to it. But I decided to give 5 full stars because of the low current draw and the amount of light produced
Current draw:
Low Mode - 120mA
High Mode - 450mA
Light Output: ★★★★★
Summary: ★★★★☆
I think that "healthy" is the word to be used as summary about the light. Having the chance to change the color tint is very pleasant when you are a lot of time working with the computer... or reading a book... or writting some text in paper...
At least for me... when I am working/reading with the same light for some minutes (about 10)... my eyes start to feel "tired"... so I change the color tint and that "feeling" dissapears for about 10 minutes and then I change the color tint again... I mean... having the chance to change the tint makes it a good reading/working lamp for adapting the tint for the situation / your liking...
Being a good light for "desk tasks" and also good as an "area light" to illuminate a small room.. is a Plus...

I can recommend it, but only if you can get it for less than 20 dollars. Even 20$ is a bit expensive.
