It would’ve been interesting to see how Thorfire would’ve designed the bezel, but we cannot ignore the poll now as that wouldn’t be fair.

Well Thorfre has a whole range of bezels
with cut outs and their S50 and S70 are flat.

But when we present the results we will add “Maybe there is a design by Thorfire we can share on BLF?”

I like version #3, #4 & #5. If you sum these up you have 32%, same as the wave and the SRK around the same. Funny to see there are so many different preferences around this part. That’s why the discussion around it was so lively I guess.

Thanks for the poll the miller! Interesting outcome. I guess it’s 100% up to the design team now to decide how to proceed. BLF has spoken haha. #109 votes in a few hours is a good score.

Either way, I’ll be happy with it!

Then we are going to propose the top two ranking to Thorfire and let them choose. (So right now they would get a very easy to make and a wave that is hard. It is going to be hard to have the Q8 package for $40 so if they really love the wave they might do it or if it actually costs no more. We’ll see and besides poll not over.)

This sounds good to me. I’d hate to force the wave design on them if they aren’t up to it and it comes out looking funky with lots of steps or something.

looks like wave and srk cutouts at tied at the moment. Honestly this poll does not mean anything definitive as you can change your vote(s)

I like the wave in general, I just personally don’t think it matches this light very well.

My Favorite Modded Lights: X6R, S8 , X2R , M6, SP03

Major Projects:  Illuminated Tailcap, TripleDown/TripleStack Driver

I couldn’t agree more. Wink

It reminds me of some flower petals, curvy and soft. The rest of the light is quite aggressive in it’s design so I don’t think they do go together.

I voted “wave” but like the SRK style too and like the idea of a flat one too!

It is close, I’m not sure if there’s any reason to continue the poll unless you want an outright winner or will two most popular designs be proposed to Thorfire?

yeah top two are going to be presented.
when they are exactly the same, that is kind of cool

It is clear, and funny all with FLAT in the name make up an almost equal part as well.

Thanks all!
it looks like the easiest to make bezel is choosen, a fairly known design.
We wil strive to make it as flat as possible
