Basen vs Efest vs MXJO

I need 2× 26650 for Convoy L6 and I don’t know what to buy…

As I see on group buy there is Basen BS26003 26650 at price of $7.80, MXJO IMR26650F 4200mAh 22A 3.7V Flat top battery is 7.79$ and Efest IMR26650 5200mAh – 15A is 9$…

I’d like most protected battery, but they are expensive, Keeppower is at price of 13.5$…

Between the 3 yes id take the basen. They all claim 50A plus so that makes them fake correct? Use common sense when buying batteries, not hard to figure out.

Keepower are $17.16 a pair using GBLED2016 code.

But given the raving reviews for the new liitokala 26650 and excellent results on the L6, I say get those instead. $19.99 for 4pcs

I’m curious what battery you are using in the L6? I just bought one and am using the Xtar 3200 26650’s. They have a high discharge rate of 35A. I also bought a pair Xtar 26650 5000 Flat tops and they don’t work in the L6. Besides being tight fitting in the tube they just won’t function.

That time I did not want to gamble and I choose a protected Keeppower 5200mAh – 10A.
That is certainly safe and you can’t go wrong with it, the + end is designed in that way so you can connect batteries is series.

Many people also use Liitokala 26650 cells which are very cheap and I guess that they are ok, not protected as KP. But there are couple of versions so you must use a magnet or solder blob to make them work in L6.

To op,I am glad you find the battery you need for your l6..

Please keep in mind that keeppower protected will not work best in the l6 if you decide to mod it.

Any unprotected 26650 flat top is too short and need a solder blop.

Good luck and please keep us update.

liitokala 26650 are about the best but their o.d can run a bit large.
get them from the liitokala store as i have heard of fakes.
so far i know of 1 device they dont fit and that is a vapor flask 26650 mod.
