http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/887091-Enlan-is-going-to-make-some-Fix-Blade

...Just heard that Enlan is preparing some D2 Steel Blade G10 Handle Fixed Blade and they are not going to put Enlan's logo to avoid problem with Chinese police department...

Many thanks to the original poster...(or sorry if this info is wrong!)

The last two look like Swamprat (Bussekin) Ratmandu Knockoffs.

Similar blade shapes, different from the finger pull and the handle back. Definitely a resemblance, though.

If it is D2 steel, it would be a departure for Enlan from the 8Cr13Mov that their folders are made from. Interesting to see how good the heat treat is. The top one looks pretty good, but maybe not pink.

I'm in for the third one . Definitely .

Number one is hot pink!

I just read the thread at BF and some poster by the name "baldetalk" from China said this:

yes, I am from China. but I am just a wholeseller of knives to ourside of China , I don't work for Enlan.
Why I started this thread is that I want to know if this knife will be popular to your guys and whether their price will be acceptable.
the price for these 3 blades will be around 50, 65 and 80 USD shipped.

So there you go...

the price point is absurd... only enlan-lovers would buy it, IF the quality is proven. bad move.

True. Though I am curious what they do with D-2 steel.

I agree that maybe 80USD is a bit much to take a chance on some random knife from China...But maybe its worth it, or the materials and quality will be very high so its like a poor mans Busse (did I just write that, LOL, cringe...)

Still for 80USD you can get a Becker BK7, or a couple other decent brand name knives, so its a tough call.

Id be interested to see user reviews or actual pics of these knifes...they may be really nice.

I agree, the advertised price is absolutely ridiculous. But as with most Chinese knives, prices tend to drop as more vendors acquire inventory.

I got an original new Camillus Becker BK-9 on ebay for $80, not one of the Ka-bar reproductions, although the Ka-bar version is said to be just as good.

Becker BK series knives have been battle proven for years. I got the BK9 instead of the BK7 for the extra length for batoning and digging if necessary. It resides inside my aircraft survival pack where I hope to never use it.
