Glad to see the EC50 II will be available in NW, may very well have to get one of those. The EC50 looks nice as well but it’s not NW.

Note that EC50 gen. II is shorter than the previus. :wink:

I already have the original EC50, and I like it. The EC60 will be the next light to buy as a thrower.

Was prepared to buy the original EC50.

Anxious to read of Gen II changes.

I’m not sure about regulation of EC50 family on Turbo, but IF first gen is DD on turbo, putting a best performer 26650 should give us a lot of lumens more! Anyone has ideas on that?

GenII on the EC50 has an XHP-70 in it, which is a 6V emitter. Not gonna run direct drive from a 4.2V Li-ion through a 6V emitter, not enough current. They’re saying 3000 lumens though, which is a lot and the light looks pretty awesome, definitely piques my curiosity either way EC50 GenII or EC60.
