Best(and cheapest) HML C8-type flashlight

Let's go flashlight hunting.

What's the best C8 type light, with a XM-L? Only two demands are full heatsinked(so no hole underneath the LED) and High-Medium-Low. So no strobe and SOS.

A friend borrowed my own C8 with a KD 8*AMC7135 driver, and now wants two himself. I don't mind changing the driver myself, so if there is a decent priced C8 with a XM-L diode and good heatsinking, that would be fine as well.

What about this one from manafont? Do we know how the quality is on this? I'd prefer not to pay any more than ~22.5$, if I have to change the driver.

Maybe the famous KD C8 with a hard driven XM-L. Or do you really want to use the 8*7135 driver?

I'd love to use the KD C8, but it's 5-mode, which is a dealbreaker. If I'm going to change the driver anyway, I'd rather find a cheaper alternative, with a lousy driver but with machining quality as good.

Try the UF 3 mode from MF. I have the KD, trustfire, Ultrafire (5 mode copy?) The 3 mode looks like a better pill, possibly better tailcap.

I purchased this light from MF:

I'm wrote my initial impressions here:

If you have any particular questions about it let me know. It needs some thermal grease on the threads and the pill had to be tightened, but other than that, I've been very happy with it. Too happy as it had been ordered as a gift...
