New lens for Astrolux S41

I’m hoping a modder with good connections for lenses can point me to where I can get a replacement for this light.

From what I can guess (mine is in pieces so hard to measure) it seems like a 15/16” (23 to 24mm) lens.

The closest I’ve found is this one: https://www.fasttech.com/products/1606/10001022/5422710-22-7mm-ar-coated-glass-lens-for-led-flashlights

Everything else in that size seems to be convex.

Hi! I found a replacement lenses for Astrolux here: https://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Manker-22mm-4-In-1-Lens-Flashlight-accessories-For-XPG-XPL-HI-Nichia-219/1925442_32681864226.html

Hope this help you!

I bought that 22.7mm * 2mm. It is too thick.

I’m looking for a 1mm thick version to try.

MrPyke:
That looks good but this light has a glass lens over the optic, this is what I smashed.

In the end I fitted a thick GITD O ring in it’s place instead.

I got one of these and while it fit perfectly it really screwed up the beam.

I also got a couple of these but I’m happy with the O ring so didn’t even try them.

Hi

do you mean you are only running the 4LED optic, using a thick O ring in place of the protective 1mm (?) lens? Where did you get the O ring, or what are the dimensions?

22.9mm X 0.95mm Thick AR Coated Lens

Hope this helps, but it expensive @ $5.25

Exactly right.

The O ring is quite old, I think I bought them from a user here or EDCF almost 10 years ago.

I can find my metric caliper so it’s .1” thick, .85” ID, and 1.05” OD (~2.5mm, 21.6, 26.7)

Thanks, I think you’ve probably got the correct one there but in the end I’m happy with the O ring even if I cant tighten the end bezel on all the way.

Thanks. I got a 27x22x2.5 o ring from eBay. It’s like 5 bucks for a few pieces, much cheaper than 19bucks w shipping for that lens earlier in the thread.

That should work fine.

If it’s like mine it will look like the O ring is to large but when you push it in to place it will stay nicely. You also wont be able to screw the bezel in as far as it originally was but I really dont notice the difference.

I also like the idea that there’s one less layer of material for the beam to pass through
