I’m NOT referring to this 4 in 1 lens:
http://www.banggood.com/Manker-22mm-4-In-1-Lens-For-XPG-XPL-HI-Nichia-219-p-1055292.html

Can you measure the inner diameter of the bezel? 22mm may be little.

If anything can go wrong, it will.
Matter will be damaged in direct proportion to its value.

I already have one (Manker version/Nichia) and I also ordered the SS ver and the colored SS ver. It really is a great light, and a great future host, too.

Ok, a replacement lens from Fasttech just arrived. 22.7*2mm AR Coated.

The diameter is OK, but it’s too thick by 1mm. I’ll need a 22.7mm x 1mm lens. Any ideas?

Both tints are pretty close in my opinion.

Choose 219B if you want high CRI.

Choose XP-G3 if you want higher lumens.

My lux meter cable broke right after my Imalent review test. I am still waiting for my new meter to come in. I have a quite a few new gears to work with this week. I will publish the results if I manage to fix my broken meter.

I’ve been ogling this light for a week or so now.
It’s calling my name and says: Buy me, buy me !

Bought 2 M01 SS Nicia and a A01 too lately (not arrived yet), maybe should have bought this S41S in stead, or just buy it also…?

Will this clip fit the extension tube?

http://www.banggood.com/Astrolux-S1-BLF-A6-Flashlight-Stainless-Steel-Titanize-Body-Clip-p-1009960.html

The extension tube seems to be suited for a clip.

The S41S comes with SS clip unless you need a spare.

Yes, you’re right, it’s just not in the pics of the S41S.
Thanks.

Freeme,

Sorry if it’s been asked already, but are the traces on the MCPCB set up properly this time vs the wrong way on the standard S41? ie.. negative traces should be on the outside edge of the board?

Does the xpg3 have color options? 5000k? Does it pull 16A on a 18650? How much on a 18350? Is cr123 usable?

XPG3 should have 1000lm @ 3Am times 4 should be in the ballpark of 4000lm on turbo. Or more if you can pull more amperes considering the low vf at 4A, then 5600 emiter lumens is very possible. In reality at least 3000?

Thanks giorgo, but it still doesn’t say whether or not the board has been changed. All I see is a plastic washers added to the bottom of the screws.

Robert , if you look closely , leds has been reflowed on the opposite direction , and negative lead from the driver has been connected to the “+” side (outside) of the LED board . Beer

Ok, thanks. Couldn’t tell from the picture. I guess BG is reworking all the boards left over from the S41 instead of making new ones.

edit.. I do now see the wires have been swapped. My monitor is old

The price was supposed to be 38 for the first 300, then XX for the next few hundred, and so on.

I guess now that Neal has been fired, all promises are off.

I’m out
