Clips for keychain type lights

I got one of these clips with a light recently and I liked it so much that I decided to order 5 more.

Just in case anyone else likes them here is the link (hard to find otherwise).

By the way the diameter of this clip is only about the diameter of one of my fingers so it's smaller than it looks in the picture.

I put one on an ITP A3 and one on a Proton Pro and when I get the others I'll put them back on the button style keychain lights they are designed for.

It just makes it so you can easily take it off a keychain (or necklace) to use the light and put it back on easily as well.

Shipping was also reasonable at $2.59. I'm starting to watch that more carefully these days.

They look nice. I ordered some. Unfortunately shipping is more expensive to Europe (~6$).

Thanks for the hint :)

I really like the small ones Lighthound carries, think they are McGizmo ones. Good vendor, particularly if you are in the US.

Go to ebay and get the same thing but with a swivel. 15 of them for only $4.59 shipped. Can't beat that with a stick!

Great find JohnnyMac !

Good thread! Fine clips are always hard to find for me :D

Shinigbeam has these on their site, I would say they are pretty much the same as what you get as standard with iTP A1 SS.

Have it on DQG now, easy to open, easy to clip, very good finish.

These are good: http://www.kaidomain.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductId=7410

That KD clip is sold out :/

Here's something similar from DX, "color assorted", black, white or multicolor at random, 50mm*22mm, 3$

Here is another deal I stumbled upon will save you LOTS if you like these little NiteIze S-biners.

I was at my local Black & Decker outlet and saw the rack with the NiteIze s-biners in various sizes. Pictured below is the plastic s-biner. In a size "0" they sell on the NiteIze website for $2.19 a piece. At the B&D outlet they sell them in a two pack for just $2.99.

But then I noticed the S-biner keyring (see the pic below). It has 6 of the identical size "0" S-biners on a large split ring. The price? Only $3.49! On the official site it would run you $13.14 for 6 of these little S-biners individually. That's a savings of almost $10. Pretty sweet bargain on these S-biners that are the perfect size for flashlight and knife lanyards.

Thanks Johnny mac just ordered 15 of those clips awesome deal.

How strong are those 15 for $5 clips? They won't pop open right?

I'm looking for a few of them to put on my EDC keychain (light, leatherman).

The only truly secure clips are locking types .

On other forums I've read many a sob story about losing an EDC because of too much trust in S-biners and similar non-locking clips .

Just sayin' .

If you are talking about keychain sizes I can pretty much guarantee you that you won't lose a light with the Photon clip I linked to. It's got a lot of force. If you are using them with lanyards and larger lights I'd agree that the only sure thing is a locking clip.
