Review of Thorfire TD34/S1

This is an amazing flashlight, I am more than pleased and impressed with this Thorfire 2000 lumens flashlight, I believe that it is closer to 2500 lumens than 2000. It has three modes low (500 lumens) medium (1500 lumens) and high (2500 lumens). The flashlight is rigid, rugged and it is made out of aluminum alloy and it weighs 1.5 lbs. w/o the batteries and about 2 lbs with batteries and it feels very solid in your hands. The flash light consist of 3 bright Cree XPL LED Natural white tint and the flashlight is waterproof and rated to work up to 70 meters or 230 ft. I am not a diver but i did test this flashlight in an 8 ft swimming pool and it works just fine underwater. This uses double “O” rings that double seals and makes it very waterproof.

To turn ON the flashlight simply turn the rotary magnetic switch which is below the flashlight head. It is very easy to operate even with thick gloves on.This has 3 brightness mode option low,mid and high and just simply rotate it to the left.
This uses 4x 3.7V 18650 batteries not included and it is recommended to use 3000 mAh for better performance. This is definitely a diving flashlight but I wouldn’t limit it to just diving, this is a great camping flashlight/lantern also. I have other flashlights to compare this too, skyray king 5x XML-T6, BLF A6, BLF X6,X5, Astolux S41, ranging in brightness from 5 lumens all the way up to 2000 lumens, this flashlight is brighter than all of my others by a noticeable amount. The only negative I have would probably be the weight of the flashlight it is very heavy for a flashlight, but really seems to be well built. This is also the first natural white tint light that I’ve been able to acquire, it may not be the last. I hope to add a video soon.

Wow!
