The STL-V3 looks good for a discount. Should be pretty well made for budgetlight standards too. Alternative to those who want the Trustfire X9. The X9 is usd37.

The description for the STL-V3 is totally out though, that's for the STL-V2.

You can use 2 x 18350 / 2 x 16340 with the STL-V3....short thrower.

I'm a fisherman and whenever i night fish, I use a headlamp. When I ninja fish, I try not to even use a light....lol I am after all, ninja'ing.

On a boat, either lake or coastal, you really need a lantern-style light with 360 degree light, not a directional one. I also bring a headlamp too.

My favorite on how2's list is the UniqueFire UF-2100 XM-L 5-Mode. Knock down the price to about $14 and Focalprice should sell plenty:
