UltraFire NH-T60 Question

Hi everyone,

I was hoping some of you might be kind enough to weigh in with some information for me.

I've decided to take a $27 DX credit to purchase this:

http://www.dealextreme.com/p/ultrafire-nh-t60-ha-ii-xm-lt60-5-mode-1200-lumen-white-led-flashlight-with-strap-1-x-18650-57005

However, the question I have is this. Would the above light be brighter on high compared to:

http://www.dealextreme.com/p/ultrafire-nh-t60-ha-ii-xm-lt60-2-mode-1000-lumen-white-led-flashlight-with-strap-1-x-18650-55907

The first one is digitally regulated to 3000mA and the second one is 2500mA.

I would prefer the high-low two mode of the second one, but I'm looking for the most light possible, and honestly five-mode isn't annoying to me as long as a light uses mode memory.

But since I'm new to all this technical stuff, I didn't want to just assume the 3000mA would be brighter than 2500mA. So I thought I'd ask about that, as well as other possible pros/cons of each light, especially experiences of those who own this light (looking for throw in as compact and "clean" a form factor as possible for work...and DX doesn't sell UF-980L)

Thanks for any and all feedback/advice.

Joe

Id punt on the two mode ...

As for the DX current figures ? what are they worth ?

Go with the 5 mode because the 2 mode my have a resistor in the tail cap.

So when your on High is draws 3000mA.

When you change to on low it draws 3000mA.

I have the UltraFire TH-T60 HA-II XM-LT60 2-Mode won from Laserpiont has a resistor.

Thank you for the input. Now I know to order the 5-mode version.

Plus that 5-mode is supposed to have a really low low.

I got a hold on Nightbreakers NHT60 and it throws better than my UF980L, yeah that's right I said it. Smaller corona, 3.5 amps on high with ReverandJims 18650 and a nice low mode. This is a high quality light with a top notch reflector and a screw in pill.
