My S mini bead blasted arrived today. This thing is tiny, especially compared to my bead blasted S10ti from a few years ago. I will post pics of both when I get a chance.

Day after tomorrow, will find out how they did the engraving. The 16th is my wife’s birthday. I should probably have gotten myself a Kevlar vest, so I can make fun of her age with some modicum of guarantee that I won’t die for it. lol Few more years and I’ll be looking for a cane and a box of depends as a gag gift. Silly (I could NEVER!, my wife, she’s as short tempered as she is short, no sense of humor at all) [oops! did i say she was short? If I tease her hair she’s 9’ tall! but if i did that the monster would come out for sure!]

I have an engraved S1 from last fall. Love it. Looks like the font for the engraving matches the Olight logo.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to the site….maybe should have stayed away.
Don’t have any 1 x CR123A / 1 x RCR123A flashlights and have thought about 1 from time to time.
This Ti one looks really, really nice…..
$102 later, I have a Bead Blasted one on order with 2 rechargeable batteries, charger and case.
Happy and sad at the same time. LOL

I have a bead blasted Ti S1 with my name on it. They actually used lower case letters in my name.

If I understand correctly, that wasn’t engraved by Olight. I think Banggood has their own engraving service, or maybe they hired it out. Mine is the same way.

Here are a few lights for comparison: ET D25A Ti 2012, ZL SC52, L3 L10, Olight S10 Ti, Olight S1 Ti, Olight S Mini Cu, BLF A01 Cu. Of all of these, the shortest one puts out the most light.

It’s hard to tell in that pic, but the last letter is an ‘e’, not an ‘a’.

That’s what I was thinking Matt, and the SC52 is definitely not Huge!

Selene is a very nice name – maybe you get echoes of Underworld which I expect you might get sick of.

Lovely name though.

It’s not exactly a secret. It’s all over my web sites.

Anyway, the name is ancient Greek, the goddess of the moon. But my avatar is the goddess of light. Both seem fitting for a forum about lights. Pleased to meet you!

Um, the world spins on a different axis than my plans. I did get to give my wife her beautiful little Rose Gold SMini with it’s engraving. She did seem to like it, but in a very short time after I gave it to her the evening of her birthday she got notification that her father had passed away that very day. (literally about the same time she was opening this gift)

We made a 1370 mile run (round trip) to her home place for the funeral, back home in 47 hours. (Yes, I drove 24 hours of the 47, from Friday at 4AM to Sunday 3AM) Both of us are exhausted, the light is all but forgotten given the series of events at the moment. My wife is an LVN, she has a touch of Pneumonia, bronchitis, and strepthroat all at the same time as an ear infection. (she found out all this on Thursday, after her birthday on Wed, got the appropriate shots and prescriptions, and we hit the road at 4AM Fri) It has been a miserable several days. She had lost her voice and had to whisper (against the Dr.s orders) at the funeral, visiting with relatives some of which she hasn’t seen in years.

I will post on the beauty and heft of this gorgeous tiny copper light when more information is garnered…

Is the clip good enough to hold the flashlight when attached to a keychain ring? Wish there’s a lanyard hole on this flashlight..

The clip is quite hard to remove, I would trust it on a keychain

Glad to know. Thanks

I have another concern if you wont mind, I noticed my SMini Ti steps down to low mode after running on high for less than a minute and wont go any higher (press and hold or double tapping the power on button will bring it to medium mode for half a second then back to low mode again) unless I turn it off then on, any clue on this?

What battery are you using?

Sounds like it might be a low battery, or an insufficient battery.
