I'm still very much interested in the XT11GT, but was put-off because of the mention of a recall that is circulating-

So I emailed Klarus to ask if it was recalled and a second generation XT11GT was being planned-

My email to Klarus:

Has the Klarus XT11GT been recalled for modifications or changes, or is it
the same XT11GT still being sold elsewhere?

I want to buy it.

Should I wait for the newer one, or is this the 'only' XT11GT?

I assume the Klarus Representative had no objections to buying it from China either-

I wonder where this recall thing is coming from, what are the details about it (if there is), the veracity of the rumor (if it is).

Perhaps a definitive statement from somebody with first-hand experience or truthful information to this ‘recall’ thing will be helpful to the apprehensive atmosphere engulfing a very new light will be helpful to us all.

So in the meantime that there is no real proof, the truth remains to be seen and everything else are pure hearsay.

I can explain it to you. Banggood canceled the group buy for whatever reason and the xt11gt is not sold in germany anymore. Only those two facts are known yet, i think the light is sold normally in other countries. I received one a few days ago directly from Klarus because i won it (give away).

This is also one of several of their lights that’s recently tested some way short of its advertised output.

I was on the original gb for this, bit skeptical now when it comes to klarus…

I won a give away, like a lottery. Strangely i won an “on the road M3” at the same day as well but from gearbest, it seems it was my lucky day.
