If it is too good to be true??

Anyone tried it?

Jerry

there is no way for the 4000 lumens output

Probably lucky to be 400

That model has been around for some years now.
I think it’s around 300LM when you have a real XP-E.
Less when they put in a fake Cree (real Lattice Bright)

Well, if you ignite the 14500 and get it to go supernova… 4000lm easy!

I’ll bet they sell a ton. Sad isn’t it.

Not sure if you were serious on it being 4000 lumens

But It’s easily achievable to get 4000+ lumens from it.
you simply grind tactical police torch into a powder form, add iron oxide and light with a magnesium strip

How hard up does one have to be. $3.39 with free e-packet shipping. Tough way to make a living even in China.

I actually think it’s not bad looking. I’d buy it at that price. Then, I’d upgrade the driver and the LED to get a true 1200+ lumens!

In much the same way that your title has a typographical error in it, they too turned 400 into 4000.

It’s a 14500, not a 10450 cell.

:zipper_mouth_face: You are correct. I got it mixed up with this “4000 lumens” on AAA.http://www.ebay.com/itm/Portable-Cree-XML-T6-LED-4000LM-Tactical-Flashlight-Lamp-Light-Torch-3-Modes-AAA-/182245171707?
I do not believe it either. :innocent:

Sad thing is it is likely so cheaply made it will be hard to mod and if you do “soup” it up the heat will probably kill the internal plastic parts.

AAA size Li-ion is 10440.

Someone somewhere is typing up the listings without any knowledge of the product they are describing. They’re making the same mistake, or have been instructed to do so. Anyone that knows anything about flashlights and emitters knows full well there isn’t an XM-L or XP-G footprint emitter that will come close to that number. It’s a sales pitch, a manager trying to clear backstock.

I’m betting that it uses one of those 9000mah 14500 batteries to achieve the 4000 lumens.

I think everyone missed the invisible print where it says “must have 5 Farad arc reactor micro capacitor” and “the led is good for one turbo only activation at 1 microsecond”….

It’s ridiculous.

I have this light from Skywolfeye:
http://www.gearbest.com/led-flashlights/pp_401752.html

Quality is poor and it has a next mode memory driver. But it is relatively bright and I use it as a knock around light, and even as my primary light source when i shower (i tailstand it on the shower door).

Ah, man, that’s too bad. I was hoping this was the latest multi-emitter mod from you!

i see we think alike.
so technically its a single use self disposable in 4000lm mode.
