Can the new edition Convoy C8 with xpl hi run on 2 cr123 primaries? Can’t seem to find the working voltage in print.
Nope, its 4.2v max. it uses a 105c driver with custom firmware now.
if you would like a 4.2v+ compatible C8 style light look at the convoy L4.
its a great light and supports 2cell configs. + it has a sideswitch if you like that.
Thanks. No big deal I just prefer to carry cr123 as backups. Guess I’ll just carry a couple 18650s instead.
