It’s cold where I am, and the GT really draws the heat from my hands.

I managed to slip a length of bicycle inner tube onto the body of my GT.

The 20 × 2.35 tube is a very tight fit, but I’m pleased with the result. I used a heat gun to soften the tube as I wrangled it on.

I’ll be showing off the GT at a party tonight, and decided to use the vinyl cutter to embellish the front end a bit. Party

Just curious how some folks have received more than one GT. Wasn’t the group buy list set up so that everyone would receive their first before seconds went out?

Yes, but that was only if the lights shipped out right after people paid. Unfortunately, that did not happen.

So only the first 555 got single lights (except for a handful of people that the Miller agreed to to fill up the 555 list. There were not many people signed up back then).

Anyway, the first 555 paid, then the next 556 to 1000 paid. It’s this second set of payments that a lot of folks paid for their 2nd, 3rd or 4th lights.

It was after this that the first batch of lights got shipped. Since Neal had a huge number of lights going to the usa, he just filled up a pallet with as many of the early people that paid. Up to the 576th person that paid, to be more accurate.

It sounds complicated, but I hope I explained it well enough.

Coyotehawk will add you to his sign up list. You’ll see your name when he does the next update. It will be sometime mid January when you are emailed with the details of where to go and how to order.

Welcome to BLF.

If you posted you want one on this thread, then you will be added to the list.

The last update to Coyotehawk’s list was Dec 27, so you will see your name on the next update.

What is the best way to open the bezel? Mine has a crap ton of dust on it, I don’t get how they got so much dust on the reflector.

Brrrr! Y’all sent that mess down here! It’s 24 and dropping, snowing sideways with a brutal North wind howling. Had to cut our anniversary date short and get home, saw quite a few wrecks getting picked up, glad we decided to cut it short before it get’s really nasty! Supposed to be down to around 15 here a couple of nights, ridiculous!

Sure makes it difficult to shine a mile+ thrower….

@JasonWW – Yes, that’s clear enough.

I had been under the impression that #1001+ would receive their first light before anyone received a second.

Just put the head in a vise with plastic jaws, locked onto the flats, and just twisted the head off by hand.

Is the tall tower closer than the small tower?
Doesn’t really look like it from the pics…

I don’t need the head off I need to take the bezel off to get all the crap that’s on the reflector.

Please Note

If I am reading it correctly, KB IS NOT taking the bezel off.

He is taking the head apart… seperating the reflector section from the section containing the switch & LED.

Are you saying you put it in a vise and twisted just the bezel, but the bezel was tighter than the head and the head came loose first?

In that case, I see your problem. Maybe laying the bezel down on a rubber pad and then pushing down and twisting the head will loosen it?

Two rubber strap wrenches going in different directions may also work.

i wonder what that beam looked like coming across I-40, on new years eve none the less !
amazing i didnt get the bluelight escort Big Smile
looking at the pics again now with fresh eyes, looks like its actually putting more light on the little tower, even with it being further away
i guess theres more to light up, its wider it seems, and more white dishes on it , or whatever those things are

Checked and double checked. I have not registered on the mad max site, could that the reason they don’t have access to my email?
