I think registered mail GT’s will go out next weekend. Most shipments went out on Saturday, and most DHL shipments are done, so registered is next when the new batch is ready.

‘I think registered mail GT’s will go out next weekend’

I appreciate you are trying to help here, I really do. Thank you Smile Beer .
BUT unless you know something is fact, please refrain from speculation (everyone) , it really is NOT helping anyone, despite the good intention.
Tensions/concerns are running highly enough as it is. Thumbs Up

I’m thinking that loosening and retightening the head might solve this, but I cannot get into the head, it’s on to tight, any suggestions?
The tailcap ring is also really tight, and someone a few pages back suggested it might be due to a pinched o-ring, but I am unable to unscrew the piece under the lumintop logo too.

That definitely doesn’t look as close to the LED as the one DB Custom posted back in post 13277. I hope this is an isolated case and the quality control hasn’t started to drop off, that would be a real shame especially since there are a lot still to go.

Yes, also is it still Aluminium? I can’t see any turning marks on it- looks very smooth (like molded) compared to the other.

Mine also has the large gap. Fortunately, it all lined up well when re-assembled.

Mine is plastic. I don’t think aluminium would be a good idea there.

Oh, I thought the one in DB’s was metal, sorry. it looks like it’s been machined – I take it that it’s nylon then?

UK backers-
FedEx have returned the package to sender AGAIN.
I’m based in the UK, and this time the message said to expect it by the 24th Jan.
I saw there were a few UK based backers who had a message saying it would be delivered by the 23rd (ie today), just wondering if anyone in the UK has received theirs yet (with batteries)?
Has anyone who was due to receive theirs today checked the tracking status?

I think we only have one confirmed receipt in the UK and I’m not sure if they said they had cells or not.

I know of two others (along with me) who have NOT had theirs yet who ordered DHL without cells.

terry b had his delivered by TNT. He ordered his without batteries.

Hopefully, other UK DHL non battery buyers will get theirs in the next few days since they posted the 4th shipment on the 19th (posted on front page). Please let us know here if you get any customs fees.

My GT has arrived a few minutes ago. It’s still in the DHL box. Lumintop put $30 on the invoice. I asked in the google doc to put $22 on the invoice to avoid tax. Everything above $24 will be picked out by DHL. So that’s probably why Thijsco did not have to pay tax and I paid €50

That s*cks Bozlight! Let us registered shippers to EU pray that Lumintop, as requested many times, will put less than $22 on the boxes Facepalm

I might have just had an attempted delivery OR a person scoping out my house to burgle it later.

Odd guy at my front window peering in. Neighbor took a photo and shouted at the person but they didn’t hang around.

I’ll have to wait til I get home to see if there are any notes through the door. I really hope there is otherwise that’s got me a bit worried.

I just typed basically that and then deleted it lol! (didn’t post it) if they put the wrong value the whole registered debacle will have been for nothing anyway -we may as well have used DHL! Facepalm

Yep. If the invoice is higher than €22 you have to pay. Why the google doc if it's not being used?

Update, mine arrived today by TNT. I had a battery delivery from gearbest from the 4th december, a GT delivery from the 19th and a gas man coming to check the meter which got my neighbour concerned enough to take a photo.

I’m still in the office so cant play yet

I don#t think the google doc was meant to adjust everybodys invoice individually but to find a compromise on what to put on everybodys invoice, maybe separated by continents.

Great news Chris Smile
Hopefully LT will get some registered shipments out before the Chinese New Year shuts everything down.

well! guess who was stupid enough to put BOTH carriers in backwards. damn lucky i hadn’t intended to fire her up only because someone recommended evaporating excess thermal grease and i haven’t got the vises to open it up yet… else BLF would have lost one member… at least i’d have gone happily if only for a few seconds lol

The wife hasn’t collected it from the neighbor yet so I can only guess that the TNT delivery today was the GT. I’ve not ordered anything else so it is highly likely. I’ll confirm in ~4hours but i’m 99% certain it is.

It’s not even making it out of HK-both times!

Has anyone from the UK who ordered WITH batteries received theirs yet?

I’m on the edge of putting a claim in anyway to protect myself. The team may ‘know’ Neal, but I’m afraid don’t – at least not enough to potentially lose $111 in some mix up or something.
Your comment would suggest there is a ‘need’ to put a claim in, like there would be no chance of our money back from Neal ?

Edit – all joking aside, maybe someone needs to sort something out soon regarding this – if our pay date goes past the point of no return with paypal, who is going to cover the thousands of Dollars if something goes wrong? (that’s a big ‘if’ i know, but it is there)

When is this point of no return please?I have payed at 12/02/2017.

Certainly a different centering ring, his touches the corners of the LED while mine doesn’t….

How can I open up the head to try adjust it? The hotspot is visibly not round which is pretty annoying in use.
