If you Google "DinoDirect Scam" you'll see that it's been pretty well covered already.

They shipped an advertising flyer with my V10A selling lingerie, and my sister says that the pictures they used are from a range of large well recognised brands. She doesn't know of DD at all, but instantly there is recognition of this dishonest activity. Would be very easy to conclude that this is what is happening store wide, its just the way they work.

And what drama queens, I read post b post and its more and more difficult to believe you are serious.

Thats reminds me to all fuss in USA when CLinton was being impeached just because he had sex with his coworker. And whole America was appaled by that. He had sex. SEX. With a coworker. Oh thats so immoral and nasty, especially in such puritan place as USA, where noone does that Big Smile And so no matter how good and able president he was he had to face impeachment, and you later elected that idiot Bush (he s no idiot, was much more dangerous) And when your country robes other country of all it's natural resources or something that's not appaling to you. But when some poor Chinese sucker saves picture thats not even copyrighted and publishes it on his website thats a scandal. Really, get real. I must unsubscribe from this thread quickly Big Smile

Clinton was impeached for lying under oath, something that people in general go to jail for here. What has the U.S. robbed from Croatia?

@ gorann

i think you comments above are very funny but the clinton thing ...

i see what your saying, people have to ask themselves what ELSE was going on during Monica and OJ time (forgot what else prolly MJ or Madonna lol ) , this dominated the news and was simply a side show. distracting people from important events , media slight of had...

If Dinodirect would take their own pictures rather than using unauthorized pictures taken by others there would be no problem. You know, actually take pictures yourself of your own products and let actual customers write their own review of products that they actually bought from you.

You don't need to apologize for our inconvenience. It's not inconvenient. It's just dishonest. That's all.

Good thing the Americans are making an attempt to hold these companies accountable because if we left it up to the Croatians I might receive a bikini instead of a flashlight Surprised

I kid, I kid. It's all good gorann Smile But maybe have a little more respect for the Americans here.. many of whom have graciously given up their time to assist you (and the rest of us) in your quest for more lumens.

Did any of you poster in this board place an order from DD and NOT received it, OR received a fake item?

Well, i placed around 20 orders with ridiculous low prices (after coupon, dinopoints, giftcards, exploits...) from them and all came in good condition and appear to be well made.

So I'm not complaining. The descriptions is mostly wrong on their items anyways, what worst a pictures make?

I believe they are legit seller. At least they honor all my ridiculous orders and shipped, unlike focalprice didn't honor its online price and canceled my order.

 Lighten up folks Smile

For me, quite real. I've bought two Sunwaymans M10A in two orders. The second order was made two weeks after the first one and included some other things. All what I've ordered was nicely photographed, without any signs of fake photos. Photographing items prior to shipping becomes more and more popular and not only DD do this.

Its a great way to help document what was and wasn't included in orders. How much this helps from a dispute point of view I'm not sure on, but I'm sure it might help.

My comment wasn't directed at you sir , my comment was directed to anyone who wasn't aware of Dino Direct's business practices  until now .

These guys are out to make a buck , just like everyone else . They are going to use any means they can to do so  . Even if it means stealing pictures , ignoring patents , or any other kind of intellectual property theft .

The group buy thing seems to be working out just fine for most .

Well I was just being sincere, If you helped me about flashligt that doesnt stop me to be sincere when ou are rambling about one or two "stolen" pictures in the context in which everyone steals everything on the internet. Let alone broader context (where practically whole world economy is subtle stealing of rich countries from poor countries )... It was just "a bit" over the top for me  Big Smile , to be so, so much astonished and "moral" about some worker from DD copied some picture from some internet forum, excuse me but thats , for me, quite stupid.

i think that the people who are upset about DD using brted's photo without permission are upset not just because it is wrong or unethical, but because it is a very personal form of disrespect to BLF and its members.  What does it say about DD's opinion of the folks on this forum that they would use the property of a forum member without at least offering the common courtesy of asking for permission or giving credit.  All they had to do was ask for permission and I'm sure brted would have allowed the use of the photo, or barring that, DD should have at least given credit where credit was due.  But they offered neither.  It's very personal to have something you worked on be used without permission or credit, especially when it turns out the stolen item is to be used to make money and by someone you sort of know.  Maybe it wouldn't have been as outrageous if DD had never bothered trying to improve it's rep on BLF, but to say that they want to improve their rep and to then go and steal from a member, it's very personally disrespectful.

gorann.  you accuse American members here of being self centered.  the truth is that you yourself are being extremely judgmental and self righteous in making those accusations.  when someone basically says, "stop crying you bunch of babies," that's just another way of saying, "i've had it worse, and i don't cry, so you shouldn't cry either."  but what do you know about the lives of the other members here?  anything?  do you think all Americans are rich and arrogant and self centered?  please stop with your presumptuous and judgmental nonsense.

as for my previous post, i was trying to provide a possible explanation why some of the member responses were so harshly anti-DD.  my personal view is that it's brted's photo and if he doesn't care, i don't care either.

More evidence that Brted is  in fact a shill for Dino Direct .

or

it's proof that there is a parallell universe

or

dino direct has a very powerful camera and took a picture at the exact same time you did

or

someone liked the picture of your yard so well they used the same style landscaping

or

Brted   IS  the  Dino

I think Semur, Summer, and Brted are all the same person and that the yard (and house) in question were paid for with DinoDirect points, coupons, discounts, gifts and salary.

I'm glad we've finally cleared the air. I know I feel better Smile

I love how people that know little about America seem obsessed with labeling a whole damn country based entirely on what they read in the news.  So some jackoffs got their panties in a wad about Clinton.  You think the rest of us 300 million give a half fart?

Bombreply:

Eventually the USA did not re-elect Clinton, but went the route of choosing Bush who soon became hated by many. Why the states voted him up is still beyond me, i can only guess they wanted a radical change...
