Weapon mounted light

I’ve been looking at purchasing this light JETBeam Jet-III M 3M PRO XP-L to be mounted on my AR-15. I like this light because it can use 1x 18650, 2x CR123, or 2x RCR123A’s. Spares can be carried in the butt stock saddle of my rifle. There is an optional remote pressure switch available.

I would like to ask what your opinions are on this light and do you have any other recommendations that might work better.

Almost forgot, do you know of a cheaper place to purchase from? GB has them listed for $29.30 but are currently SOLD OUT.

Thanks for any help!

What’s range do you need to see out to ?

Wow iam in the middle of the same issue I mounted a maxtoch sniper to a custom built M4.i recently acquired and it became very muzzle heavy so I tried a c8 but now I’ll have to get a different driver and pressure switch that jet beam look nice that’s a good catch.

Oh yes the Maxtoch lights are designed for weapon-mount, but I feel the head is too big for that, and very head-heavy.
I use my 2X just as a torch. And also have a C8 on my rifle.
Very good combo for my application.

The Jetbeam is a high quality light, very reliable and should work great for anything indoors. This forum is Convoy crazy but I would stay away from any of the budget lights if your life depends on it. Too many switch and driver retaining rings to come loose. If your wanting a light for outdoors there are better choices with better range.

I am quite happy with my Armytek Predator v3 or Olight M22 Warrior - what about a remote switch. I think this more important than the model.

I would love a convoy c8 but there are no tail switches for it ?Or are there?I was seriously considering the jet beam but I would like a single high/turbo mode so I was going to mod an ultrafire c8 .

Probably no more that 100 to 150 meters.

From what I understand, the JETBeam 3M Pro has a feature that works like this;
When the flashlight head is tightened down all the way the light only has the single turbo mode. Slightly loosen the head and all 5 modes are available.

The light you chose will never give you that shooting range, usualy when a hunter says 150m at 150m the target should be clearly seen, what kind is is, a dog or a jackal, is it a male or a female and so on

A XPL Hi X6 will be great for you, i would say Astrolux S03 but dont like Manker much lately, they usualy mess thing up great time
The best thing for you( and cheapest too) is to find a US fella to mod for you a X6 torch, 3 modes, hunting style( you actualy dont need that much modes on a mounted flashlight)

Otherwise Olight M23 is an option, they have faily good remote switches, and speaking of those i dont use them anymore, one cant rely opon them, they fail exacly when they dont have to do that:/

Youll love X6 m8, i have one on my Sig M400 .223 rifle, its as it was made for it

Ah okay that will work perfectly ’thanks for the information

Well i found out that the tail switch from a maxtoch sniper will fit directly on a convoy C8 I just mounted on my M4 and it works great .

Astrolux is not Manker (anymore).

They are m8, unfortunately…that company has too much clones with different names

Manker broke ties with Astrolux (Banggood brand)
