Re: DX or KD Holsters for P60 size hosts?

Anyone have a favorite sku at DX or KD for a cheap but good holster that fits P60 size hosts?

Mine is a Solarforce L2M with an extension for 2x AA power, it has the same body diameter as an L2 but same length as an L2R.
Looks like DX sku 807 would fit, anyone here try it and if so with what body?

The 29355 one just works with an L2r there is around a centimetre overlap on the Velcro - it would probably work less well with the L2m diameter.

What I use for the L2r is this one. The L2m will be a tight fit in it though.

The numbers from my light tests are always to be found here.

The holster with 1 cm overlap on the velcro is 18 cm long. The opening are 3 cm quare.

My L2i fits in it nicely with at least 2 cm overlap. The light is 17.2 cm long. If the light

is the version without strikebezel it will fit even nicer.

But I admit that all depends of how much overlap you want. But 29355 are of much better

quality than then one you suggest. I have both.

I also use the light in a holster with open buttom from Germany, but this is much much more

expensive than the one from DX and I dont think its much better!

Agreed entirely, the 29355 is a very much better holster - and an even better one IMO when dyed black. Meanwhile I've darkened them with a black permanent marker.

I really hate that camouflaged color. Why can't they just make it black...

Hence the Sharpie marker till I get to the shop that sells dye when it is actually open. I have something like 24 of the things to dye black.

Doesn't the sharpie get all over your hands when you hold it?

Not if you let it dry for a day or two before use. You do get a bit of ink on your hands while colouring them but it washes off easily enough with the alcohol based hand gel I have to use at work.

This one is very good. Fits all P60 hosts nicely. I use it for Jet-III M.

Its exackly the same as the DX holster. The only difference is the colour. So if one prefer black this is it.

Thanks Nautic! So to make things clear, these two are the same: http://www.kaidomain.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductId=5398 and http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.29355 but the KD is black?

Manafont have a decent range of holsters too. Mostly for larger lights though. There are a couple I've not found elsewhere.
