Looking for a charger that will do 4.35, 4.2, 3.7 and NiMH

I’m looking for a good 4-slot charger that will charge all different LiIon Chemistries PLUS NiMH.

Doesn’t need to be very fast.

Just bought a Nitecore i4 (2016) but it seems to be defective on slots 3 and 4 and my NiMHs came off the charger scalding hot and inflated (the bottoms had rounded off), so it’s likely going back…

Any recommendations?

I have a 4 x battery holder on an iMax B6. Can also add more if needed.

Hmm I was really hoping for something simpler… How does this iMax thing even work?

I also have a bunch of regular Lithium chargers, but eventually my RC hobby led me to more refined chargers with profiles, USB logs, and more freedom.

all you need is a balance charger and a battery holder, you put batteries in and select a charge program. NIMH are typically charged in series, LiIo parallel. there are ways to change that and adapt the charger to other packs.

I never understand the need for only one charger that must do everything. But then I do have more than one plug socket (power outlet) in my house, so maybe I’m just lucky. :person_facepalming:

Some consumers may have different needs, i.e. constant travel, or taking the device between homes and/or countries/cars/bags? In that case a charger that does it all works out.

when I worked as a consultant I traveled 100% and only had 1 charger that worked on all batteries.

This is KLARUS charger just rebranded, otherwise it would be 40$

These two are pretty great:

Thank you for all your responses. As a summary: I am currently using the new i4 and it’s not working for me. Best I can tell it’s NOT fake. I will look into the KLARUS charger posted.

Decided to go with the knock-off Klarus! Seems like it does everything I want, is cheap, and is micro-USB compatible to boot!

Thank you all for your input!

You welcome
