Just say NO to faRcebook

It’s a cute game of “guess how many” but no thanks.

Should I assume that all the boxes are not empty?

I would assume every box is non-empty. I don’t think they’d try anything tricky like filling the jar with empty boxes.

thanks for a giveaway but…. me no do no face book

I don’t do Fakebook, but if I had to guess: three dozen batteries AKA 36.

I swear, I’ve never met so many anti Facebook people than here at BLF. I can understand being indifferent or just thinking it’s a time sucker (it is), but I’m astounded every time someone mentions FB.

A lot of intelligent people here.

The way Facebook collects personal information and sells it to the highest bidder is downright creepy and constitutes an enormous security threat.

(Like most people with an IT security background, I flatly refuse FB.)

Sorry for the OT, I like hkequipment and have bought from them more than once.

For me, it’s just a personal preference. I have a FB account. I’m not generally paranoid about security/privacy. But, I don’t want to connect with vendors, manufacturers, retailers, or any other commercial entity on FB. I also don’t even add everybody I know in real life to my FB friends. I’m happy being a little less connected. :stuck_out_tongue:

My guess is 33 pcs . :+1:

Not having Facebook so I post here ?

No facebook.

I agree with the facebook dislike, i don’t like it, i don’t condone it and i think its mostly a waste of time.
That said i opened the link in a private browser (to avoid the tracking) and i suspect there are (41) 18650s

37

31…

You are right of course, but so does almost everything else too. Smart phones are probably the biggest threat to security to ever be welcomed with open arms.

I have simply decided to not fight it. I have come to the realization that if someone really wants my information, they are going to get it. My background is in finance and credit (credit reports). At a previous emplyer I used a database to verify identity. All I would need is your cell-phone number, and I would have your Name, SNN, DOB, and creditor information. The same information for all of your immediate family and anyone that had lived in your previous address for the last 20 years was only a click away. Even entry-level employees (temps) had access to this database.

This is where I am at. I don’t add anybody from work to my FB, I use it mostly for keeping in touch with family and college friends.

I just laugh because all of the paranoya reminds me of my Dad who uses facebook, but refuses to download any app to his smart phone because of “viruses”. He just uses the built-in browser.

Sorry OP for going off track. I’ll stop now.

I would say 38 if I were to guess on FB… sadly FB is a no go for me as well

None at all, a short (heh) few minutes after a handful of them accidentally touch in a way to complete an electrical circuit.

I guess I should make a guess too:
