Mag light C cell With Improved UI and output. (edited title).

So I was out and about last night and I saw something at the home depot.

It was a twist UI Mag Light in 3 and 4 cell “C” type batteries. Has anyone bought or done a review of them?

I believe that pack is of a 2 and 3 cell light. I do not have either, but I would imagine that they would operate just like the AA and AAA Mags that have been around forever. I don’t see these lights as having modes, etc. Just on and off.
ImA4Wheelr bought this pack, I wonder if he has yet tried them.

What is this? Temptation Island? I am trying to ignore the pack. It is still unopened and I have not decided to keep or return yet. OK, I think I decided long ago. I'm just trying to keep my options open, just in case. I will admit, I have almost opened it several times. I just love the size and proportions. Anyway, sorry. Someone else will have to take one for the team.

Why blame me, YOU clicked on the link “Mag light C cell twisty UI”

Ok, So if they are single mode they are a pass in my book. I have enough of the LED mag lights around the house. Maybe I will get another if someone decides to sell One of OL’s modded ones. I missed his last set.

I was at Fred Meyer’s (local PNW and Alaska all in one sports, auto, home and grocery store) and guess what I found?

Here is a few camera phone captures. Sorry about quality but it should get you an idea.

Things to note that are not in the photo, this has a side clicky switch about half the size of the older ones. There is also a “D” version but I did not see any on the shelves.

Careful reading, and it looks like Maglight might have upped there game a bit. Even if it is a year or 5 late and Holly hell expensive. They were around $40.00 each.

Edited to make sure the images are working correctly.

If I’m not missing something new, these have been out for a while (1 year) now so there should be some reviews and mods for them. I think they are not so popular among modders because they are kind of expensive to use as a host. I like the potential of the ML25LT tho because of its $20 price tag; the other models are more like $30-60 iirc. ML25LT is a twisty tho.
