Hi all

Just thought I would do a quick review on these stocking fillers(I bought 3 of these on pre order price is now cheaper)

Theese ,are about 16” long can run on 3 x aaa.18650 .Battery sleeve and dodgy eu plug charger + adaptor also in white cardboard box.
has high low and flashy modes.

high about 1metre from wall very tight beam . possibly about 200lm.tint prob about 1a

Good finish, No trouble collecting dna with this head

hollow pill as expected.

exploded view no orings.

reflector ,it’s quite deep sorry about quality. Head is 40 mm dia external reflector would be about 30mm dia

the battery tube silver piece is about 1mm thick and the joining piece with the driver has about 5mm thread engagement each side
if you were to smash too many melons this probably the first place to come apart

perhaps a bit of Loctite here would be good.

exploded view of head assy held together by circlip and spring.star is 20mm
to wrap up for the price now 9.99 its ok. and for modders it has a heap of possibilities
a bit more weight decent emitter pill and driver. would make this a great self defense light to fight off the wolves apparently

banggoods video… seems it is good for making fruit salad…

will mod and report back

ah yes I believe I paid around 13 us ,I think the current price is only for a few days,

op updated with exploded view of head very simple.

ok all done
the pill a piece of 30mm alloy 40mm long,it no longer uses the circlip the handle holds the pill in position

fitted a xml 2 u3 I had laying around. with some decent wire

stacked a 2,8a driver with biscotti flashed in ,
here’s the result

there is no comparison xml on right…

and with that slug of alloy in the head ,I believe it would crack eggs no problem.

Thanks for the review. Probably couldn’t carry it here you could leave it in your car. How is it compared to L6 or S70 as a weapon these are both fairly big lights?

I just spent some time looking at California laws, I guess I won’t be buying one to keep in my vehicle.

A teaspoon will crack eggs.lol This is a play on words? The head is solid but how substantial is the battery tube and the entire structure in general? I love the mod you did. Definitely substantial. Thanks.

How is it compared to L6 or S70

totally different form…to the l6 ,but I reckon the l6 would hurt if hit with it, and much brighter,
but you have to pay for it.never laid hands on a s70…

the head and extension tube are quite solid, the battery is in the base of the handle and is probably the weakest part,I will update the op tomorrow
