Planning to build a website to list all my works. Unfortunately www.reylight.com was taken. Been eyeing on it for a long long time,
the domain was supposed to be expired today, but the owner somehow extended it for another 3 years.
I came up with a few more choice, but none can satisfy me yet.

You could always go .net? Or just get reylight.cn and buy out all the other Domains so they are linked to you. For some reason people seems to think .com is more official.
It also depends on what customer you want to appeal to the most? Get your SEO in order and you will show up first on web searches.

reyflashlight.com sounds good and it does not invite typo’s going to reylight.com.
reytorch.com would of course please me as a european, and I guess the chinese calls it ‘torch’ as well?

Have you tried contacting the registered owner of reylight.com to see if they would sell? When one of our competitors went bust and a cybersquatter took their domain, I approached them and bought it for a small fee.
Yes, I emailed him twice, no reply.
Edit: the owner is in Germany, selling led tubes. Maybe my English email was blocked.
