Gearbest sent the wrong Ganzo knife. Keeps sending me the same form letter...

Hi all,

I’m pretty frustrated. I ordered two Ganzo knives. One was the wrong one. I sent them a message and picture via their customer support form. 3 times now their response is the same form letter. At this point, I have no interest in ordering from them again, is there any recourse, or just open a PayPal dispute and let gearbest block me?

Here’s the letter from gearbest

Someone must have mixed up the product code.

They keep sending me the same form letter. I’ll try contacting gearbest on this forum. So far, banggood has a lot better customer support.

They send me wrong flashlight and sending the same copy/paste message.
Paypal refund should speed up.

Repeat your message and try to make it as easy as possible (in terms of grammar and shorting words
Idk where you live but if you are not in an English speaking country copy paste your text into gooe translate and see what you get in your native tongue.

also this ibam curious about, the wrong knife was it better or worse?

oh, i kept the language short and concise. even circled the discrepancy in the model numbers with the invoice and the box and product in the picture.

it’s actually not that big a deal, BUT i want the EXACT knife i ordered.

i ordered a GANZO G7452 - WD1 Folding Knife which is striped ebony and looks really cool. they sent me the WD2 version with is super dark ebony (basically looks black). i purposely picked the striped ebony because i didn’t dig the dark version. the printed invoice even states WD1.

i sent a message along with the same picture to gearbest’s handle on this forum.

They may even offer you a discount to keep the wrong knife. Just make sure you can live with that knife AND don’t be afraid to counteroffer their discount offer. They usually offer a small discount first…then counter it trying to get it for half price or sumpin…that is , like I stated earler, you can live with the wrong knife. If all that fails, use PayPal.

If you are in the US, I may buy the dark ebony knife from you. If they offer you a discount to buy the correct one, I can make up the difference plus shipping. I mean, the whole thing is only 17 bucks.

Gearbest was awesome! special thanks to the Miller too. They opted to just refund me the cost of the knife. I offered to send it back… They said to just keep it.

My experience with Gearbest is to just skip their customer service department and go straight to PayPal. They suddenly stop playing games once some oversight is involved.

I ordered an “in stock” knife late November. Yesterday still said processing. I sent them a message, and the reply was “Yes, knife in stock, but we can’t find a shipper who will ship to your country” with the usual we can refund you in GB points…etc…

Can’t ship to the US? About had it with this company. It’s not that they can’t ship the knife, it’s they don’t want to make good on the discount with the coupon code they posted here on BLF.
