“Since the drop in is need to be installed, sometimes it will take longer time to make it. Hope you understand it. And the tracking number is XXXXXXXXXXXX by 4PX. It can be tracked on en.4px.com two days after it ship out. The package already in shipping company. Please kindly close the dispute and we can ship it out.”

I have ordered P60 dropins from them before and never did it take me than 2 or 3 weeks to get to me and never was I ever under the impression or understanding they had to be made to order as it’s reasonable to think their supplier already have them pre-built ahead of time and have an inventory of them. I then told them I will be glad to close the Paypal dispute once I can actually track the package through USPS, not quite understanding what “4PX” is.

They then said:

“To US, we use 4px US express line, it normally take around 2 weeks to arrive. Can we use that shipping method?”

Anyone here in the US have any experience with 4px? Are they something like DHL where they hand the package off to USPS for delivery? If so, I would think at some point it can be tracked via USPS.

Not necessarily a bad customer service experience so far, but could be better in my opinion. I’m concerned they seem to be not understanding my point of view by insisting several times I close the Paypal dispute. So I’m not sure if something is being lost in communication here or there still is a huge difference in perspective on customer service between the east and the west. Also maybe I’m expecting too much, but I was hoping for a better explanation for the delay than what they gave me… more like, “oh we’re sorry we made a huge mistake and it’s our fault for the bad service” or something like that. I don’t know like I said, maybe something is lost in the translation.

I am sorry for the situation for your case.

In your order, you had made 4 different kinds of LED drop in. I am sorry for one of the LED drop in does not in stock and cause the delayed of the package. I know that is the not a excuse for the delayed of your package. And there is China National holiday in the first week of the October. Some LEDs is not arrived on time and we cannot assemble it.

Once the LED drop in is ready, we had arranged to ship out asap.

Ban I appreciate the response and I would like my order to be completed. Can you please tell me when I can reasonably expect to receive the order now that it has been delayed? Are we talking another 2 to 4 weeks? Also, does 4px deliver themselves here in the US or do they hand the package over to USPS to deliver like DHL?

As i know, your package is ready for shipped out.

It will take around 14 to 20 working days to be delivered. It must leave Hong Kong within 1 to 3 days.

I am difficult to promise when does the package can be delivered to your hand. The deliver time will be affect by the custom or local logistics courier. As i know, they will co-operate with some local logistics company in some places.

In my experience Kaidomain is faster than average on shipping from that side of the world.

Now I get 90% of all my lights and related parts from Kaidomain.

I,m really angry. Expensive to buy, slow to ship, 7 weeks already waiting, opened case too. Really not recommend to buy from it

The reason it takes a while is because ban makes all the orders as they are ordered and he test the products before sending them out.
So it takes time to build the items!

Kd not updating order status in user accounts more than one month. Received mail with status shipped but without any tracking info. This thing need ti be faster.

Shipping speed is not KD fail.

Ive made so many orders and i only just set up an account the other day and it took a whole day to get the verification message that my registration worked lol. I guess every thing is manual at KD so he would have to update the system per order manually.
When i order LEDs from other suppliers it takes up to a week to ship the order out because they also flow the LEDs as ordered.

Lost orders are a full separate issue. Many reason why they could get lost and its hard to track with standard postage.

Maybe ban can split ship orders if there is a major delay by default?

Yes, we will consider to split the order in the future.

Because of there is some LEDs are not in stock in sometimes. It needs to take around one to two weeks from the distributor deliver to our hands. The delayed is more serious after the Chinese New Year.

I am sorry for any delayed of the package. We must keep improving this.

I’m pretty happy with my experience so far. My first parts order shipped pretty quickly and made it out before chineese NY hit, so I received them pretty quickly. I now have two parts orders en route, both shipped within a day or two of placing the order.

I have noticed though that for at least one of my orders, the only place I can find the tracking number is in the email notification when the package shipped. It wasn’t displayed with the order record on my account.

I’d be pretty annoyed though if I ordered something that appeared to be in stock without the listing and the shopping cart/check-out making clear that it was either back ordered, or had a substantial lead time (ie more than 2-3 business days).

Yes its very slow, I recently ordered parts that said “in stock” and after 23days I have not seen any progress to ship the items. I contacted them via email and they told me to wait another 3 days and gave me a “tracking number” to be used at en.4px.com. However when you enter a tracking number at this website and click track; you just get a DNS record error for “track.4px.com” I tried using multiple DNS servers and a few NsLookup tools and it appears that this subdomain had never had an CNAME record created, and appears to go nowhere. I am also not able to reset my password at KD either. Angry

All around I have had a pretty bad experience for my first, and last time using them. I can understand waiting for something after it shipped, but waiting on it to be shipped seems ridiculous.
Has this happened to anyone? I guess Ill wait a few more days to see if it ever ships; than try filing for a refund. Facepalm

I had the track.4px.com DNS problem, too. Strange thing is it worked just a couple of days before.

I’m not sure if this is a good thing or not, but you all are giving Ban a hard time! If GB or BG would have a thread with ‘slow’ in the tile, those threads would selectively attract posts confirming it just as well, but without a representative trying his/her best to solve all issues.
